I love this ending even though it's very bittersweet. Loki's Glorious Purpose has finally come by sacrificing himself to stop the Temporal Loom from destroying everything except the Sacred Timeline, becoming the next He Who Remains/God of Stories. When Loki locks Mobius and Sylvie out and tearfully says goodbye to them, he says the same words he said to Odin right before seemingly dying. Loki: For you. For all of us. Loki's purpose is a glorious one, but the burden is completely heavy, where he is completely alone, unable to be with his loved ones ever again. Still Loki gets watch over them from countless timelines on a throne at the end of the world. No subjects to rule over, no family, no friends. Just him. His god attire isn't fancy, no gold trimmings, as it emphasizes the "burden" he places on himself.

I’m happy to finally see a Loki that was not *forced* to go back to his villainous ways. Finally a Loki that have a redemption arc stick. I also love that these two seasons were using characters and themes from the comic, but in the end, it’s completely original. And gosh, that pep talk Loki did to Victor Timely… he was really starting to get into the “nurturing” thing. It was so nice. He also doesn’t seem to have even thought of replacing him and doing it himself, he wanted Victor to be the best he could be, and never thought of stealing his thunders.

Loki kept going back in time and changing things so I figured that since we didn't see Ravonna get pruned in this episode, she had a different fate

Simultaneously joyous and tragic for Lokl

After 14 years of Loki actor Tom Hiddleston is finally done with the character and what a perfect full circle end for his character

I thought it was a very fitting and earnest send-off for Loki. Sylvie might have a further part in the MCU, but it's still sad to see the original Loki go. Seems like they're winding down all of the OG avengers crew.

On a humorous note, Owen Wilson’s “What the SHIT are you doing??” Was perfect. I never knew I needed to hear Owen Wilson ask Tom Hiddleston what the shit he was doing but here we are. On a serious note, holy crap, the music in this series was unbelievable. Natalie Holt made a masterpiece with her score for this episode, no other way to put it.

Loki become one of the most powerful character on MCU. Now he is not God of mischief, he is 'God of Time'....❤❤❤ He is now less greedy, less selfish person.. And now he sits on his true throne where he should sit.....🥰🥰👍🏽👏🏽

Tom Hiddleston cements his legacy

As a young writer/director what did you think of the acting choices made in this final episode? There were, of course, very big and dramatic moments but I think the best scenes were the small moments where the actor conveyed a life time of meaning in just one look. Loved your review.

The acting was exceptional! Tom Hiddleston's portrayal of Loki is always incredible but especially in this episode. I agree with you about the small moments where the actor is able to show so much emotion with the slightest look

I adore the final scene with Mobius and Sylvie, “let time pass” ruined me emotionally, and Owen’s delivery was perfect. I think Tom will get all the attention for the great acting in this series, and don’t get me wrong he deserves all the praise in the world for his performance. But Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino deserve a ton of credit too for how incredible they were in this series.

@@rickykozak58I love how many times the MCU took an actor, put them in a role nobody expected, and see them outdo themselves. I doubt a lot of people expected Owen to be THAT GOOD at playing a mostly cerebral and emotional character, even if he was goofy at time, it was to deal with his… scars… I love it.

I hope the mcu brings in another Loki for the movies, apparently there's lokis to spare, maybe Silvy in the next avengers or kid Loki or just have them coming out of the woodwork since they aren't being pruned anymore

It was truly brilliant and glorious. Everything was so good I have zero complaints. Well, 1 complaint... It was too short hehe.

Pretty sure it was Alioth in front of Renslayer.

This easily the best MCU show

Oh you aren't one of those people that freaked out because of the kiss were you? Because those Lokius shippers are some of the most toxic and hateful shippers I've ever seen.All because their ship didn't happen and he kissed someone else.
