I have a weird theory for ya. How come they have to go outside of the TVA?? That part that shows LOKI running through the hallway with the windows on the left looking outside the TVA. The walls and structure kind of look the same as the building or area where ANTMAN was fighting KANG. What if KANG was just in a different area or whatever you wanna call it, annddd the TVA and everyone down there are all inside the Quantum Realm??

This episode confirms why OB's memories weren't erased as he really is the most important worker in the TVA and that Kang needed him to write the TVA instruction manual because it was vital to Victor's rise to power.

I was wondering why Ryan didn’t pick this up, it was the one thing that stood out for me. OB WROTE the TVA handbook, maybe he’s the real villain. On the telephone too, in the beginning credits, the letters “tva” are all under the number 8, 8 is the shape of a mobius loop, I must admit my brain is a bit fried lol 🤯

  • @LosPhillips

This is probably also why Kang keeps him isolated so he doesn't know what's actually happening and that everyone else gets their minds erased after every cycle. This explains why he still knows mobius but mobius doesn't know him.

If you don't have the attention span to handle 35+ minute episodes forore than 6 weeks in a row, that's a you problem. If Marvel can't produce 35+ minutes of story for more than 6 weeks in a row that's a creative problem that can be remedied with different writers who have passion. Why stop at 6 episodes being too much? Why not just boil every story down to a 2 hour movie, hell if you can't explain the plot in a 2 minute trailer that is too boring for some people. /s Sorry, this line of reasoning really irritates me - obviously. Just because you produce fewer episodes of a story doesn't make the story better. It just makes it shorter.

I think the “big secret” is Miss Minutes revealing that Ravona and He Who Remains had a relationship before the TVA, but HWR ended up leaving her and wiping her memory so he could go off to the End of Time while she runs the TVA for him. This would also refer back to the recording we heard in episode 1. Miss Minutes obviously has jealousy over that relationship, which can be seen throughout the episode.

I loved the scene with Miss Minutes getting super creepy because it was done so well. I was thinking to myself, "this is definitely a new direction, and I love it!" Also, and I know it's low hanging fruit, but I loved when Loki and Mobius were looking at the carvings of Baldur, Odin and Thor and just before they left Loki made a crack about how Thor isn't that tall. It goes to show that after learning about Ragnarock and his own death at the hands of Thanos, and ALL the development he had last season, Loki still hold some animosity towards his adoptive father and brother. And I loved how it was meant to be just a quick cheap-shot.

The facial expressions of Miss. Minutes, especially on the boat, are some god tier animation storytelling. You can read every one of her feelings hiding in the background without saying a word. You can see her boredom, admiration, smitten love, frustration, jealousy, and disturbing evil plotting perfectly. Also a tinfoil hat theory of mine is that Miss. Minutes is based on condensed timeline variants of Renslayer after HWR realizes no matter what he does she won’t be there with him at the end of time like Miss. Minutes is. Being AI with free will her feelings of loving him start to creep back out spending literal eternity with him. Miss. Minutes is like the HAL Renslayer who is going to go full tilt evil when rejected destroying the TVA creating the multiverse war so once again at the end of time she is alone with HWR. AI can’t be pruned and 1 Kang is basically immortal. All that’s left at the end of time.

I think that Kang displaced a younger variant of himself from the 31st century into the 1800s. A version of himself that was pure of heart before he could grow to become the angry and bitter man he was destined to be. He did this to always have that time loop. Also, what Miss minutes is going to reveal to Ravonna Is that Kang manipulated and used her to get to the top by making her fall in love and then betraying her by wiping her memory, of who she was and sending her to work for him in the TVA.

Another great episode. I think the big reveal from Miss Minutes that will cheese off Ravona is that Ravona is actually a He Who Remains variant. She’d have the correct aura to keep things running while HWR pulls the strings through Miss Minutes outside time. Also explains why everything in the TVA went to crap after Ravona left. And if Loki and Silvie have taught us anything, it’s that people really do love themselves, so Ravona can’t help but fall for HWR variants.

This is sort of getting me excited again in the MCU. For so long it has felt like they've released shows and movies that have nothing to do with a larger plot and only create plot holes for each movie. That or the story has been really poorly told and never had me all that invested in what comes next. Keeping my expectations low but this episode was good

True. I was thinking that he's the only variant of Kang that is altruistic enough to rule. What if it at all the end of this he's the good guy and tells Slyvie that he has to take her in as a child to set everything in motion for her to show him the way of being the better version of himself. The only way to beat Kang is with an altruistic variant of himself. Maybe that's who HWR is?

I like your theory because it connects with the subtext of Loki series as a whole, since Loki has been fighting to be a better version of himself, in the face of all the predestination crap that Moebius told him. So it makes sense that there could be a variant of Kang, maybe the very original one, that is not bonded by his own ambitions

What if the MCU wrote Renslayer as variant of Kang. Just like Sylvie and Loki are coexisting, RR could be a variant of HWR, probably a stretch. Also, this episode was centered a lot on the distinction between order and chaos. RR declared herself has order, and the scene cuts to Sylvie as chaos. The same way as Loki could represent order and Kang chaos.

I think the secret about Ravonna is a going to parallel her relationship with Kang in the comics. She was a teacher in Season one, but we don’t know much else about her. Perhaps she had a happy life with a family, and because of Kang’s feelings/obsession for her (as noted in the comics), his jealousy would not permit her to live her life. He wanted her to himself. So he kept pruning her out of timelines each time she became a Variant, wiping her mind in the TVA (and keeping her information out of files so she doesn’t know), and almost kept her prisoner to keep her close to him by making her work in the TVA.

I think Victor Timely is He Who Remains, but I'm not convinced he is Kang the Conqueror. Rather, he's a variant of Kang from the branched timeline seen in this episode. I think the Sacred Timeline is needed to create Kang, so Kang can defeat the council, win the multiversal war, and create the TVA. Then, He Who Remains just needs to defeat one Kang variant using his knowledge of the TVA that Ravonna gave him in this episode which branched the timeline.

Amazing how she takes no accountability for things being the way they are but it's typical woman behavior which is why she wouldn't listen to reason and pushed Loki through the time door smh women operate on strictly emotion and don't care about consequences as long as they want my question is when will Loki tell her to get over herself.

The way in which to break the cycle is for Loki, and possibly Sylvie as well, to take He Who Remains' place in the citadel at the end of time. Or it could even be Revonna. Then there will be no need to deliver the TVA manual to young Victor. As a result, no Kang will be created.

Then she comes back right as the TVA is trying to stop the rogues from killing the timelines, then blames the TVA (who’s trying to stop all the deaths) like she didn’t just watch what happened with Loki and Mobius and B-15 trying to save everyone and being horrified. Now she’s right back to the S1 Sylvie who wants to just kill everything. Her motivations are so bizarre and flip flop.

I think Loki's speech at the end of E2 convicted her. She realized she couldn't enjoy her free life on her own branch while everyone else's lives were in jeopardy. Perhaps that's why she seeks to kill Victor in E3: if there are no HWR variants, then there's no TVA and no threat to free will or the multiverse. Sylvie is conflicted. She's beginning to see that this isn't the black-and-white issue she thought it was in S1E6, and it bothers her. To your point about blaming the TVA despite seeing them try to stop Dox in time, I don't think she's angry so much with the TVA as she is with Loki. Even though she disagrees with him, she still cares about him. When he and Mobius leave the boat launch in E2 to return to the TVA, she follows him. She stays and watches the branches get pruned. She also can't bring herself to kill or hurt him during their fight on the Ferris wheel. She knows why Loki is doing what he's doing, but she hates * what * he's trying to do. She wants them on the same side and it pains her that they aren't. I hope Loki convinces Sylvie that he's truly trying to do the right thing. He doesn't want to keep the loop going or bring HWR/Kang back to power; he just wants to protect his friends and find a way for everyone to live their own lives that won't cause a terrible war. Because at the end of the day, all Loki really wants is for Sylvie to be okay.
