this is probably the most genius mod out there, and why Logitech doesn't just include the shifter switch that was on the g25 shifter is beyond me.

BeeCow15 you can take the shift boot off and make it free if you have a hair tie laying around 😂😂

I'm the second one to leave a comment. You know what? The easy shifter setup in your video is an easy way to do that I have heard, and I saw lots of them playing Initial D Arcade Stage 3 with Logitech G27 Shifters with this setup just like yours.

Also useful as a handbrake when using sequential paddles

If you want to make a upgraded version: Adding a washer to each of the screws prevents the rubber bands from slipping off :)

bind them to "higher gear" and "lower gear" just like you would do with the paddles

But if i play Dirt rally witch it it gonna go in neutrall gear right ? Or you need to set it up maybe show how to :)

don’t know if I’m late and u know now but on settings of whatever game it may say sequential shifter/ H shifter/ manual with clutch etc etc but if it doesn’t basically you go to reassign your buttons or it might say something like/about presets and it will then say gear 1 gear 2 gear 3 etc but also it’ll say gear up or down which is actually used for paddle shifters but you change it to 3 and 4

On ps 4 works with dirt rally dirt 2.0. (Dont know others game but i think all rally gamesvwork ). Gt sport asseto corsa have no options for write settings button I KNOW BECOUSE I TRY. (sorry for my english i hope u understand me)

I dig it . But wont this cause the shifter to return to neutral gear unless you maintain the force required to keep it in gear ? Maybe there is an advantage to this , i will give it a try .

For example in assetto corsa you can use 4th gear for the upshift button and 3th for downshift and not assign neutral to neutral, its really only for cars that are sequential in real life.

You can use this set up in project cars on any car and once u select the gear it stays in that gear doesn't revert to neutral

Just assign the buttons that would normally be your shift paddles to 3th and 4th gear, works that way in most sims

@@motiv8m3dia On ps4 you cannot replace the H shifter button setup as far as I am aware, only the buttons on the wheel, I guess it depends on the game though

this video is to make your shifter a sequential one. so you also have to change the settings (if the shifter is not working restart your game)
