I really love this concept because it's literally how I use Nintendo Switch and SteamDeck - only for playing at home, not for outside

Ooh!!! I knew someone would do that! For my Switch, I do use it outside, but usually limit myself to games I can play offline. I did try playing a game that uses the Switch Online multiplayer functionality over mobile data using a mobile hotspot, but the latency turned out to be too high on a moving vehicle. The latency would probably be lower if I weren't moving.

Thanks for this video. I was shown an ad on FB. I didnt know this existed. Im looking at getting this for my young sister (9) for Christmas. Along with a case and glass screen protectors. This is perfect for her as she wanted a PC.
Thank you so much for this in depth review, you never fail to impress with your detailed videos. I thought I was going to watch a few videos regarding this product, but after watching your video, i dont need to watch anymore, you answered all the questions. 10/10
So far I’m really happy with this. So far I only use it for gamepass. The screen is a perfect size for gaming, I was shocked.
I have had the g cloud for awhile and i love it. I was going to get the ROG Ally too but i only game at home. And this does everything i need. Plus i already have a ton of games on Playstation and gamepass. So i dont need to invest in buying more games in a new ecosystem. I love this thing

I bought this 20% for cloud. 80% for emulation... The emulation has been amazing... Everything from GameCube, PS2 works really well with a few exceptions... And my God the comfort is probably the best.. in the screen is bright and colorful..

These 2 devices aren’t comparable. The gcloud is mainly for cloud gaming and does really good at it and can do some light emulation. The Rog is pretty much a pc in handheld form and can also play AAA games natively. The Rog is closer to the steam deck where the gcloud I would say is closer to a upgraded mobile experience.
@Sleepeaze

@ghostlLion1234 it means that the game is streamed from the cloud. Meaning that you don’t have anything installed and you play a game strictly over the internet like KZread or Netflix for example. You can also stream directly from your console or pc, but that’s technically not considered cloud streaming.

Great concept! I used a Backbone for PS5 remote gaming for a while before switching for my iPad Mini + dual sense controller. That price is 😬though.
Just a tip when playing on android games you can add button mapping to any of the games by holing the bottom right home button and then using the drop menu to manually configure the controller to each of the touch screen areas 😊

I can't get past price on this, you can get an Xbox Series S for £190 during the sales, Switch OLED hovers around £300, however this non console is more expensive or just on par as those? I'm sure it's a nice bit of kit, it's just too rich for my blood.

With GE Cloud you said that you don’t need to have a PC but that’s not the case. You have to have the games on PC. It comes across that you can play PC games without owning a PC and unless something has changed, that just isn’t the case. Also no mention of emulation which is superb!

Hey Chris, I picked this one up the other day from your shorter video and I have to say...this Logitech is good to go...the PS5 runs flawlessly on it and the Xbox Series X ...also I have steam account which is also great for gaming on this thing, the price is justified due to the many options you have for gaming, which i paid 299. Great video but a few comments...massive emulation capabilities. Plays everything from SNES to N64, PSP, Sega, Dreamcast to PS2 games meaning you can load thousands of games and play offline with upscaling graphics and looks awesome. Also with the update there is button mapping now so Call Of Duty and the other google play games are now compatible with the controls. I have the steamdeck and this is the one i pick up because of the great screen, its light and the battery lasts 3 times as long as the steamdeck.

Yes i just bought this so i can steam link and ps5 remote play around the house I’m no longer stuck to one room and I just need a Wi-Fi extender so i can get a better signal on the front porch
I’m getting this
I think the G Cloud isn't priced that well simply due to how close in price it is to the base model Steam Deck, especially with the certified refurbished program Valve just started since it's literally a $20 difference between the G Cloud (On sale for $299) and a refurbished 64GB Steam Deck ($319, but inconsistent supply)
Mobile Gaming It seems like a really cool device to have for mobile gaming, especially as it caters for the main consoles and PC apps etc you'd want. I might have to think about picking one up 😁

I am going to give this a try since this video is shown it can almost run every game I want to play. I was really sad when the steam deck launched and it can't play all of the 300 games that I have in my profile.
It’s superb.
I heard with the controller support update that this device is good for Android gaming despite how large it is. If it was cheaper I would get this as for what it is you can find a cheaper alternative from what I seen. Still cool Logitech is trying the handheld industry.
I wonder how it compares to the backbone in terms of lag. I know he said minimal but a good comparison touching on this specific point or even a side by side would be perfect for PS5/Xbox
Please help! I got my LG 27GR95QE gaming monitor today, but when I started Ghost of Tsushima there was no sound? The monitor was on volume 30 but the only way I could get sound was by plugging in a headset and getting it through that. I don’t want to use a headset for single player, I would rather it come through the monitor. Do you have to buy separate speakers? Does it not have built-in speakers? Thank you so much!
They've now updated the device and it supports key mapping and video out
They have button mapping so you can use it on any game
At 4:09 he mentions remote play, which is what i want to this for. Is the delay and lag any different than just using my laptop or phone? If i were to use both on the same wifi, like at my GFs place, would there be a connection/smoothness difference? Mainly ralking about online multiplayer games like apex or MW3

I would buy this RIGHT NOW. I think the price is fine for what it is but my only problem is data. I have only 1 TB per month and I feel like I'd eat that up so quickly by cloud gaming. That's why I only use cloud gaming to try games for a few minutes. Maybe if I ever get an unlimited plan, I'll pick this up!
This is perfect for me because currently only have one TV so when the kids and wife are watching Netflix, Disney Plus etc then I can game elsewhere in the house 👌🏼
nice nice, once they do 120Hz screen, I am all in!
I really like the idea, but for Playstation users, i would recommend Backbone for the iPhone. It is much cheaper too

I have question do you need a console first before you buy this or can you use it without the systems
Native remapping software is out and works perfectly
I keep hearing a lot of mixed reviews ranging form bad to good. I heard recent updates with virtaul mapping and few other updates have made it better. Im not into cloud gaming but i have thinking about getting a device like this for mobile gaming. I've seen some good single players games on google playstore that i like to get my hands on ^^ Some of them are on my switch but not all of them and some games seem to look better on devices like this rather than on my switch. Also didint logitech recently added virtaul button mapping to it?

I haven't been gaming in a while except for my Nintendo switch which got me kind of used to laying down very comfortable gaming experience instead of sitting upright. That's why I've been thinking about this thing. Only downside is that entry price $300 that's just way too much! $150 at best!!
Mobile gaming: Chris i Got a Quick question will the m2 air will be enough for streaming with obs from ps5??
I enjoy my Logitech G Cloud
Do you need to be in proximity of the console to be able to play it like in remote play, or can you play from ANYWHERE?
I have one and also a SteamDeck... I enjoy them both. I love taking the Logitech G when I'm out of town. Had mine for about a year now. Actually, was playing it when I saw this pop up. Happy New Year.
Is this worth getting if you only have standard internet speeds? I normally get between 40-50mbps. Also mostly looking use it for playstation games so also wondering if theres any input lag.
i kinda feel like when talking about the price you should have included (or at least mentioned) that Geforce NOW and xcloud are both subscription based. This brings the price up as you have to be prepared to pay even more than the base price. For the device marketing itself as a cloud gaming device, having to pay monthly/yearly really brings it down to me. I feel like that is something that should have been talked about in the last section mentioning the pros, cons, and if the device is worth it. Very amazing review other than that.

So since it needs internet to play, can you use your phones hotspot for internet?
