Steam Deck now has 256GB/512GB/1TB for it's 3 tiers, and a 7.4" OLED HDR Display. Replacing the old line-up for the same price points. Available in a few days (Nov 16 2023). Also 30-50% battery life increase now and a bunch of other improvements. Good time to be in this market.

I just got my Logitech G cloud and so far I'm impressed with it my internet where I go is pretty damn good and I have had no problems with lagging or anything like that I mainly got it because I wanted it for work and when I'm at home sometimes I don't want to play the Xbox and just want to lay on the couch playing this handheld device

Can you play Xbox and PS games on the Steamdeck? I dont have a PC i only play Xbox and PS5. I want to get the G Cloud but kinda changing my mind after learning its Cloud gaming.

If your wifi is good then the g cloud will be fine but if you're just looking for handheld streaming I'd look at the abyxlute

@@Droneia I have a g cloud and it does everything I could possibly want it to. Cloud gaming is great, streaming is great, plays pretty much every ps2 and gamecube game I've tried well to very well. Has Steam on it as well, I've had no complaints, I just bought a retroid pocket 4 pro so I could have a smaller form factor device as well

I am a huge fan of the G Cloud. Also I have steam deck to compare to. Given that you already have computer at home, G Cloud gives you better experience while gaming, and also costing you lesser given sales and cheap cost for used device. It''s gotten bad hand with bad marketing and high starting price. Also cloud gaming is not here yet - that's every reviewer said. While it is true, local streaming is almost undistinguishable from native gaming. So in the end you'll get amazing parametrs for the handheld (fullhd vibrant screen, 2\3 of the weight and 12 hour battery), yet way cheaper than competitives (I've got mine for 180 usd). Sad that this is very unpopular option, but I see that local streaming is very nieche way to play your games...

Technically a PS Vita by itself won't do as much as any of the systems on here. However with jailbreaking a Vita is most definitely a GREAT deal. With the library of the PSX, PSP, and PS Vita it has a great value both price wise and functionality wise.

Okay steam deck can literally emulate all of Nintendo catalog. I'm running wii, n64 gba , 3ds on it with no issu3s. If I wanted I can just by the device that let's me take switch cartridges to make copies for yuzu without having to download them.

Personally I don't consider the Deck, ROG Ally and its like "consoles" since they're just PCs in your pocket without their own dedicated games like you see with actual consoles like "PS Vita Edition" or "Xbox 360 Edition. They're great nonetheless less, but I'd be hard pressed to call them consoles, or anything other than portable PCs, more akin to laptops.
