You were the very first person I ever subscribed to over 7 years ago when I started playing. I recently started playing again after taking a 2-3 year break. Had so much gold/gems and cards saved up I'm pretty much maxed now and play it everyday again.

To try to catch you up as much as possible: In regards to the meta: Dagger duchess just got a small nerf. It's hard to say yet but it seems like she'll still be pretty strong. But you can still get away with just using the princess. Especially if there is a big level difference between tower troops, just use whatever is the highest level. Evolutions (I will go into more depth later) are super strong currently but as you saw they are all getting nerfs (health nerfs for most of them) to make them a little less dominant. Cannoneer isn't my favorite. He is a 1 shot big damage, slow reload meaning he dies to swarms really easily but is a good tank killer. I would rather just use princess than him. Outside of evolutions and without getting to in depth the meta isn't really bad right now so you could pretty much see reasonable success with anything if you're good enough. In regards to level 15 cards: Level 15 cards are really hard to get without paying, playing through path of legends (basically alternate ladder that resets each months) is probably the easiest way via the rewards it gives you. Ultimately, level 15 cards aren't a big deal. A lot of gamemodes are capped at a certain level anyways (path of legends level cap depends on how far along you are and any of the gamemodes in the events tab have all cards at level 11.) B-rad hasn't leveled up any cards to level 15 as a protest against the update and still sees success at a top tier, which goes to show skill is still more important than card levels. In regards to evolutions: Evolutions are pretty important. At king tower level 15 you can have 2 active evolved cards but until then you realistically only need 1 evolved card. Unfortunately, your firecracker wasn't evolved, the symbol you saw at the top of the card just shows that it's a card that can be evolved. You need 6 shards to evolve a card. There are 2 types of shards, wild shards and card specific shards. You can get 3 card-specific shards in the season shop located in the events tab (you get 1,000 free season tokens per day for playing events, & additional tokens for winning in the special 12 win challenges they sometimes have.) The 3 free evolution shards you can get cost 5,000 | 10,000 | and then 15,000. So it would cost 30,000 season tokens to get half the required shards needed to evolve that card. Unfortunately this is really the only way to get evolutions f2p. You will still need 3 wild shards for the rest of the 3 missing shards for that card, which you can either get through lucky drops (the daily quests tab you saw in the main menu- but they are really rare) or more easily with another 6,000 season tokens in the season shop- with a cap of 1 purchase per season. Or, if you don't mind spending a few dollars they usually go on sale in the shop every once in a while for 3 shards. You would just have to buy the offer twice. Diamond pass is arguably better value if you want the evolution. Hope this made sense! I really feel like they've overcomplicated the game a bit- which makes it really daunting for returning players but alas. It can still be fun to mess around with evos and tower troops here and there but I don't think the game will every quite truly feel like it once did. Glad to see you back though!!

You need to do: 1) Get Little Prince 2) Get dagger dutchess 3) Get your tower level to 54 so you can unlock 2 evolutions 4) Find two evolutions you like, they all just got massive nerfs, so we dont know which ones will be the best any more, but Evo Zap, Bomber, and Knight are the most OP 5) Find a meta deck and level that This is what I would recommend if your getting back into it

You definitely need to buy at least a few things in order to catch up. First a couple evos, evo bomber and evo zap are the best right now and you cam use them in most decks. Dagger duchess is really good as a tower troop. Also little prince is not essential but is very useful nonetheless. Anyway, glad to have you back :)

Good to see you still doing well! Im in the same boat, havent touched the game hardly this year at all. I think I've only opened the game twice since evo came into the game. You always made clash entertaining. Even when you were negative you were still the most positive. You had a very realistic approach and genuinely seemed hurt for the F2P community. But you always kept the good spirits! Keep spreading that positivity ASH.

I left before level 15 and evolutions. Came back recently and it is nearly impossible for me to progress. I'm still very good at the game, but I can't do anything if my opponents are equally good with 2 evolutions when I don't even have 1

Evos and towers ruined the game. Skill takes the backseat now. Can be twice as good as all your opponents and still easily lose 4 or 5 matches in a row due to crazy evo interactions that shouldn't exist and duchess tower...while before evos it would be the complete opposite. Great time for bad players. Horrendous for great players as skill has less and less value.

Used to watch your cr content all the time. Awesome to see you back and its great to hear youre doing well.

Here’s what id say, i would think you need to spend a little bit to catch back up, mainly get an evo or two and level up some cards to level 15; also your firecracker isn’t evolved, it just shows that icon bc it can be evolved. As for daily news, we would all love to see you make clash content and I know you want to dive headfirst back into it, but daily news might be too often, for how slow things change in the game maybe do it more like a couple times a week when something seems worthwhile to cover.

I'm only a few minutes in but WOW has so muched changed. It's been 3ish years since I last played or really seen anything news related on the game. I used to play all the time and watch all the OG youtubers and I believe I was maxed out at the time. Good to see you back, Ash. I've followed you since CoC. I've also continually played since launch but am playing less and less these last few months. As a total F2P casual player usually clocking up a maximum of 10-30 minutes a day, I've struggled to keep up with the pace of the game with evolutions and DD tower troops. My decks are much more limited now with what feels like every player having the cooler toys. Loosing more frequently just isn't fun. Maybe I need to look at other game modes to satisfy, but it's feeling like I'm being left behind. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing you back on the content train.

This is the biggest bottleneck for my progression as f2p. Just bc i used to buy the rewards every gt with my mastery gems, i have every card except 2 lvl 14, but lvl 15 is just impossibly slow. And duchess, i cannot keep up. Ash if u see this man the game is going downhill only, I still play and i hope you will enjoy it too, but a new broken evo gets released each month for 12 pounds and the elegant skill level needed is diminishing.

Glad to see you, missed your voice! I think tower troops are balanced well. between the three they all have their advantages against different decks. The Dagger Duchess is probably the strongest, which is implied by legendary status, but you have to save elixir to support her when she runs out or you will pay big time for it. I think currently the hardest economy to upgrade is getting cards from 14 to 15. every day I buy all cards in the shop being sold for gold just to cash in for elite wild cards. 50k of them takes forever to get so if you end up buying bundles those and evo shards should be a priority. Good luck, enjoy all the new stuff, will be watching for more vids.

Very happy to see you back, the game has changed a whole lot, dagger duchess is the best Tower troop, void was just released and is currently the best spell, evolve zap is probably right behind it, you need to get to level 15 ASAP, and try your best to get a second evolution. Little Prince is also really good so unlock him and upgrade him ASAP

Happy to see you are back! The plans sound great to me. Imo the tower troops are fairly well implemented, but they are a bit pay to win, tho the new balance changes maybe fixed it a bit. If you really want to catch up you might have to spend some money, but I honestly don’t think you have to bother. If you really want to you could just buy the pass for the evolution

My current statigey is to max my cards so I can more elite wild cards, to get more level 15. I still use your code CWA. The little prince is good. I don't think you need to spend, but it will take a while.

I can't remember whether I was still playing when I heard the news that you're leaving from Morten, b-rad , boss but I have to say that although I haven't even thought of getting back to playing I kept watching the guys I mentioned above. I don't think I'm ready to get back in the game but it surely is good to see you again. The game as by this point you've probably noticed hasn't really changed. I mean yes they've added more ways for people like myself (non-pay-to-win-players) to feel disadvantaged or get frustrated . But I guess people who play competitive or content creators feel like they have something new maybe even exciting to show to their audiences. In my opinion it's becoming a less skillful game and rather more spamming game since I believe they're targeting younger people and trying to get them excited about the game. Anyway welcome back champ and hope you'll hang around for a while . Missed you ❤️

To keep up with best decks you have to have dagger dutchess and little prince as well as what ever evos you run. Cycle your champion so you can play evos as fast much as possible and that’s how you win 👍 good luck and welcome back.

Hey Ash, long time follower. Dagger Duchess is meta right now...everybody is using it. Bomber is top evo right now as well...as well as firecracker. Knight is also a solid evolution and beware of the skeleton evo...it's killer if it gets on your tower. As you said Tag is still producing content, i suggest you watch a few of his videos and alot of the new updates will be explained.
