The issue with putting iron in a drink is that it would distort the taste. They'd have to cover up the taste of metal with something like sugar

The problem with iron is that pretty much all the iron you ingest doesn't get absorbed. You need vitamin C to fix it. So it would have to be some kind if acidic drink like orange juice but very sweet to mask the iron, and even then in a liquid form it would go through you quite fast.

Yea and tastes like theres 2 cups of sugar in each bottle.

Whoever is on Logan and KSI's team is brilliant for recognizing who their audience is and knew this would work. The main reason prime is so sweet is because Sucralose as a sugar replacement which is about 600 times sweeter than table sugar. So I understand why kids like it and parents don't mind it for them because its super sweet and doesn't result in their kids bouncing off the walls from a sugar high. I must say it's a brilliant business because half of is audience is 18-24 and Im guessing most are under 18 for the rest. As for me as a 31 year old adult It's just to sweet for me.

800mg of electrolytes that do nothing bc the ratio is fucked for hydration. No sugar for binding agent for sodium, and no sodium for hydration. Too much potassium just so he can say there’s 800mg of electrolytes.

This doesn’t actually work for rehydration purposes. You sweat out salt and need to replenish it. Having primarily potassium will only further throw off the equilibrium of your salt levels, which is essential for continuous muscle activation.

It's more of a vitamin drink if anything, and it also benefits fighters in some ways which is why its the UFC's main drink and why Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski signed on. Sucralose helps lower body weight by removing bacteria from the gut, Prime has sucralose instead of sugar. For fighters like Adesanya, Volk and Logan who cut weight when they fight, it's perfect.

Smart business move. It rides the line where it’s technically able to be called a sports drink, while also tasting sweet enough to satisfy a group of 10 year olds. It’s be better if the electrolyte content was more sodium and less potassium, but then they couldn’t get away with making it taste as sweet as it is.

I didn't mind him here at all. In fact when Mark pitches the iron idea you can see him going like "wtf, this all makes perfect sense and this dude just came up with this on the spot after we've been on this for a long time". He realizes on the spot that there is a massive difference between him and Mark. The kid knows he's far from perfect and he's made horrible mistakes but he's still just that, a kid. 28 is nothing, Mark will be the first to tell you how stupid he was at age 28.

You could get that information pretty much anywhere. Could've just googled it. Plants have iron, but human body has a pretty difficult time absorbing iron from plants as opposed to meat. Therefore, it is often suggested that vegans and vegetarians take iron supplements.
