He was good but I think it's him explaining it on depth that others tried but couldn't explain it the way they thinking, HHH giving us that insight and he's right there are guys that were good that just like eh and then you got guys like Austin, Rock, hhh, jericho, kurt angle, edge Christian, hardys, dudleys that were all memorable, whether you loved them, hated them, loved to hate them, or even wanted to love or hate them but couldn't. Even with whoever on the new roster too. For instance even Austin's heel turn people still cheered but booed because they didn't buy the story they didn't believe in it it didn't work but we did get some comedy gold out that story line at times especially with kurt angle. Wonder how the Austin heel story would have went if they weren't forced to audible when hhh went down with that quad tear and out for as long as him would Austin and hhh be fighting over Vince attention or would the story be something far different.

Kudos to paul for letting his guest speak without cutting then off.

What made wrestling better back in the day was how the characters felt real, and they portrayed themselves as their characters even out of the ring,not saying anything is wrong but them talking about how it’s all played out somehow just deteriorates the intensity of the business knowing that they’re explaining it’s all acting

I know a ton of people who hate HHH. While it’s likely true that he had a vicious ego, I think it’s foolish to write him off as someone who was only successful because he went 3 inches deep on Stephanie. H is actually a solid wrestler, mainly because he does understand psychology. Was he the best? HHHell no. But he definitely has a great mind for the business.

Didn’t most people want a refund on that Floyd boxing match making it flop in the end?
