Log Pile Tarp Camp
I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

@@arcflash29 you're just assuming things because she's not on camera a lot. That doesn't mean she is not enjoying camping. She might be shy or maybe she's not trying to take attention away from him and the camping content. You're projecting your feelings onto her with no reason to. Another great camp you set up there. The new stove seems decent. Quality casual guff at 23 minutes into the video gave me a chuckle too! Thanks for taking us along on another camping adventure. A very relaxing 2 hours.
Thank you for sharing another entertaining camping video! Your financedid a great job filming btw, very steady shots that frame your informative instructions..a perfect pairing 🙂

Cool spot out there. Multifirework was so cool. Winter can be fun. I guess there are nicer places to go in summer. This was a good adventure. Thanks for sharing.
I’m in Northern Ontario, Kapuskasing up on Highway 11. We have been well above 0C over the last few days. Tim Hortons farmers breakfast wrap is amazing. Thanks for the content from Ontario, much appreciated. The weather can be much like Maine & New Brunswick at times. Enjoy.
It is great to have someone to share your passion of nature. I am always a little bit worried when you go in the wild alone , it is my mother heart who is talking....lloolll Nice camping video. I dont have the energy anymore to do wild camping like you so I love to be able to live it with you two. And it is in my home country Canada. You seem to appreciate our wilderness. Have a good day both of you.

I know you already probably know this. When you saw that log in front of that stove with the door open,be careful because that saw dust can combust and it would be like a small bomb in your face. I had something like that happen when I was younger. I was playing with coffee creamer, same concept. I really enjoyed your channel and I learn a lot from you. Thanks for all the time and energy you put into making them,it really shows. Much love and support.

Very true, there is a feed mill not far from where I live, a couple years ago there was a guy who decided to take a smoke break. It just so happened he was doing some maintenance in one of the grain elevators, and wouldn’t you know hadn’t had a thorough cleaning in years resulting in grain dust in the air. As soon as ol boy went to light up BOOM! Not only did the poor guy get lit up you could say he saved a few feet of his frequent flyer miles. Needless to say the mill needed a new grain elevator and half a building afterwards.
. I enjoy the camp videos. Thanks for internaning content. Hope to see more camp videos.
Hoping you guys are enjoying your time here in Canada. We have had the weirdest winter ever. Much fun watching your camping videos. That vegetable soup looked really tasty. How do you Tim Hortons? you picked a wacky winter to visit. mild. usually it is colder. had a nice cold snap in January. thanks for explaining the use of pine. so many winter campers use it but no one mentioned why. great for cooking. kindling to me.

When I cut a hole in a tarp like you did. I like to make an outline of my hole with the tape and then just cut out the middle. That way the tarp won't accidentally tear while I am trying to tape it. Might want to give it a try, but as always awesome video.

Very sweet stove. I'da ran those 2 90° stove pipes with a 2 foot section between them, and out the open doorway, then up attached to the huge log beam that was sticking out 3 feet away from the shelter. No messing cutting a hole. Same setup, still just inside the tent. 55:00 Thanks for sharing. Cheers and Kuddos from Duluth Superior USA ✌️🤍🕊️

A little introduction from her: who she is, where she's from, etc. Greetings from Finland, where -30C hardly feels like anything :)
You know things have changed for the better when Post 10 is now regularly eating mass quantities of vegetables instead of what was it? Like 6 grilled cheeses? Lol! Nothing but love man and glad you’ll be with us for a much longer time because of that change.
I see the stove on Amazon... I made a Rocket stove 20 years ago and recently splurged and got a store bought one. Nice. Getting an emergency kitchen going...what else to do when a person is nearing 80. Extra bacon fat is a great fire starter. As is or a gob on the starter pile, soak some paper grocery bags and keep them handy. Use them instead of paper towels for grease. And the fire smells so good! A simple roll of removed used carpet stashed in your truck could be your under layer, also work for any on your back emergency work you needed to do. I have a piece of old carpet in my truck...keeps stuff from sliding around too. I prefer a scoop shovel to a snow shovel. Bigger bites and loads on a scoop. Better for shaping too.
