Log Cabin Built with Lincoln Logs (just a bit heavier)
Today's log cabin build may be deja vu for some of you out there especially when I use the word Lincoln Log. As I stack row after row of similarly-sized red pine logs up onto one another I quickly get flashbacks to days of old where I was busy building a structure not too different than what I am today. Albeit, a few years have passed but the passion for log building still persists. Fortunately for me I've some equipment to help me with the heavy lifting today as that's one thing I never needed in years gone-by. With the weight of these heavy red pine trees dangling overhead, I'm extra careful to gently position them one on top of another without damaging anything along the way. As you'll see in today's video, I've got some basic plan in place to get things underway but I'm always adjusting that plan as things go off track (the generator comes to mind). At the end of the day one thing is for certain, the rows of logs will continue to grow and I"ll continue to enjoy the process. Glad you're all along for the tour. Here we go!

My 6 yr old grandson is here for an overnight. I just found him building a cabin with our bucket of Lincoln Logs. I told him about your project so just watched this video with him. Second time today for me. Now you are influencing the next generation Sandy. Have a great Victoria Day weekend
You are persistent! Between the dropped logs and that generator, I’d have gone back in for more coffee. I really enjoy watching your determination and patience! Thanks.
You are a very patient man I probably would have run over the generator with the tractor haha it looks like you're doing a outstanding job. This is tough for a one-man project. The log loader trailer is very helpful. You do inspire me Sandy. Thanks.
You get lots of thumbs up for all your work and self control. Great job Sandy, hopefully the generator makes it
Progress! I like it! That generator wants to be your friend but seems to have commitment issues. 😁👍
Good to see you got a new generator with an auto shutoff to save us from global warming!
I am amazed that that generator hasn't been retired. Your patience is second to none 😂😂
Howdy Sandy- if wasn’t for the frustration it would be comical 😂. It does get aggravating when you’re trying to put a screw in and it does. Cabin is looking great. Take care and God bless
My husband and I enjoy your videos very much. My husband used to build log homes so anything that involves wood is very interesting to him, We too live in Ontario so it is nice to have someone here that is willing to share the fun they have. thank you
The fact that your generator starts right back up, makes me think that is has an low oil pressure switch that keeps tripping.
Stay at it Sandy. It’s looking good. Stay safe.😊😊😊😊😊
Another fun Sludging with Sandy Saturday morning! Wish I was closer....I'd definitely come give you a hand!
Moving right along in spite of your generator. Brute strength and ignorance and the with bulldog determination and the will to win. Great to see the progress.
Looking great Sandy!!
Looking good, Sandy. I was rippin out 30'' - 16'' roots with a Kubota KX80-4 Excavator all weekend
Yeah you are persistent and calm. Nice work bud
Hi Sandy, hats off to you. That is quite challenging to do by yourself and in addition the generator stalling continuously. It did add a lot of humor to the video each time the generator stalled but I know that it must have been very frustrating. Have a great day!
Coming along nicely Sandy. Your patience is admirable. But I do believe your generator has a sinister plan to get you to get more steps in....😂
SANDY YOU SHOUKD PUT A 2X6 STANDING UP ON THE OPEN END SIDES AND SCREW THEM INTO THE LOGS TO KEEP THE WALLS STRAIGHT AND SAFER , LOOKS FUN
Sandy looks great 👍 it’s coming right along before long it’ll be done ✅ ❤😊🇨🇦
