Over The Garden Wall is amazing! I'm 35 now, was in my late 20's early 30's when it came out and I bought it on DVD. I absolutely adore it!

Can we all just appreciate that this is actually a spooky mix? So many of the other mixes that are labeled as fall/halloween/spooky honestly just sound like normal lofi to me. But this series is great.

I was so happy when I was your comment - what you said is 100% correct. Most of the other Halloween lo-fi that come up in searches are just normal chill lo-fi with a pumpkin image and maybe an intro from some Halloween movie.

Mariana de Medeiros Reche - EAPG I forgot the channel, but they don’t play it at any other time of the year. Kinda like how you don’t see Charlie Brown and the great pumpkin year round. You can still watch it whenever though. I don’t remember how I did tho lol, it was kinda hard to find.

Listening to this mix every spooky season has become a tradition.

I did not expect the OTGW intro to be followed up by beats so slick and sinister they give me Yamaoka and Massive Attack flashbacks while maintaining their own jazzy vintage vibe and an HPL audiobook. I now need to buy you drugs and a copy of the OTGW art-book.

When I first listened to this last year, I was like "what the heck is that opening dialogue from?" Which lead me down the path to my first watch of Over the Garden Wall, which will now be an October tradition.

This is actually THE BEST Halloween/Dark Lofi mix I've ever come across-- I search for some each year, but this is by far my favorite. The very first little intro and first track hooked me IMMEDIATELY and kept me the whole mix through. I'll be listening to this a TON! Thanks for this treat!

This is one the sickest beats I've ever heard

I remember how i listened to this during the first lockdown when it was just becoming fall. The leaves were red, brown, orange, there was a light chill in the air that got your bones tingling. The crunching sounds of leaves under your foot while you felt the warmth of your hoodie/sweater as you walked around. The crispness in the air as people's houses had decorations hung from seemingly every corner of their property. The feeling of staying home and doing online school, looking out the window as the teacher droned on about whatever topic they taught, having your favorite drink nearby. A blanket laying in your lap, keeping you warm and cozy.Good times bro, good times.

When I saw Over The Garden Wall in the thumbnail, I clicked immediately and I'm glad I did!

this has to be my favorite mash. music is dark and inspiring in a strange way. The video loop is perfect. I imagine a kid coming out of the corn stalks to find this scene of his friends (who've all slowly, one by one, gone missing) dancing in a circle around a force that has coerced their curiosity and interest.
