I live on a boat and in the yard and sometimes i help a man who has learning diffculties , who pops in eating my biscuits along with a cup of tea and he owns a small boat himself, i do wiring , wood work etc for him , and he came out with me one day to pick up parts for the digger in the yard , we cruised around nattering about anything and had this on in the background . A few weeks later i was helping him fit a stereo on his boat and that had a USB socket and explained to him about USB sticks and got him one and asked what sort of music (he is in his mid 60s) he asked for this track :-) .

This whole sound encapsulates an oscillating vibe of daily life movement to get you through almost all days in getting into that autopilot mode so that when it's time to focus on things you really care about it helps you avoid the depressive mood swings that you exist and that you still haven't accomplished what you wanted yet.

First listened to the original upload back in 2017 on my first acid trip and all I can remember was seeing this picture of them smoking moving with the smoke like it was real life. Crazy how time flies and memories with it. Spent years trying to find this playlist again until I googled lofi trip hop yesterday.

This original version is probably my favourite video on youtube of all time. Every single song is an absolute banger.

Damn, man! Liked the first version in 2016, and now we have re-re-upload. And it's still just fine! P.S. Found the original mix on the Internet. Good to know it's preserved.

This mix is an absolute CLASSIC. Hate to use the word masterpiece, but IMHO it's an essential collection for any triphop playlist. It's how the tracks flow so naturally together that I love.

This mix is very sentimental to me. This got me through the last 3 years of college. Now I'm in my final semester, and hopefully this keeps me going till graduation.

I listened to this mix during my first Ayahuasca journey. Mostly laying still with my eyes closed. It made a great musical guide to keep me relaxed and comfortable even at the highest points. Great music to stay grounded and relaxed during self reflection

No it is NOT Alan Watts. Why do people always think it's him as soon as they hear some sort of commenting voice recording in music like this? First of all there is no recording of him saying anything like what is being said in the music, second of all the speaker has no transatlantic accent, as Alan tends to have and thus, and third, it is not an old recording.

About 5 years ago I was going through a pretty rough patch in my life. I'd gone from Straight John clean cut and engaged, to single, rooming with q guy I'd never met and had pretty much lost all will to live. Somehow I picked myself up, discovered weed and began a really long journey to learn how to live again. I discovered this track when I was first frying my gourd on high-grade sativas and at the time didn't realize how much it was helping me

Always love this sound. I always found it the most experimental in current music for at least for several decades. Current music means different things to each individual. But, this sounds has been going since, the mid to late 90's. Love the evolution of this genre.

This has saved my life 🙌...be careful with acid 🙏be true to your self..listen to your feelings around people...make sure you and your self can be playfull and ferm with your outer world...some will use you and manipulate you while you are high....we are made of language and that is ruff, playfull and loving ❤️ I love you

one day i was at a music shop and heard some magical sounds. bought it right away. Nowadays after several years my music tastes have have slightly changed. But the TripHop anthology will forever be one of the best albums i have ever bought. :D
