The book shown in this image is a book called "Kokoro(heart)", written by Natsume Soseki. Natsume Soseki was a great artist who had portraits on Japanese bills before. All japanese high school students study this novel. It's a very good story, so please read it. I'm using a translator, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

Shin-i-chi, Things are a struggle in my country as well. It is unfortunate to hear stories of people who don't have safe homes to reside in right now. Funny, I finally got around to searching "lofi hip hop" and heard a song that made me think, "wow, this could've been something straight out of Samurai Champloo, and behold, this track here starts right up. The notes on that horn are recognizable by any Champloo fan.

Wow. This picture gives me so much nostalgia. Especially with the first song from Samurai Champloo. I grew up in the bay area and would stay up late at night to watch Samurai Champloo on adult swim and the view from my room was the Bay Bridge.. I still remember the smell in the front yard to the smell in my house. Time slows for no one. Enjoy your minutes because they dont last as long anymore.

I used to listen to this mix when I first heard it my sophomore year of high school and I would study my history textbook and listen to this. I also live in California so I would get an awesome sunset from my backyard as I studied. Mix gets a 10/10

I comment on these lofi mixes too much but i don't care, I got a lot to say. I'm going through a really rough period in my life right now, I'm unable to motivate myself to work or study (especially bad since I'm a junior in hs), my relationship with my parents is at the lowest of the lows, and my mental health is probably the worst it has ever been. I feel so incredibly lonely, it's funny. 10 months ago I would've longed for an extended period of time where I wouldn't have to meet anybody. But here I am, and it absolutely sucks. I miss my friends (though I will admit that they aren't the best people ever). I miss the after-rain scent when I would sneak through the tree filled backside of my school to the library entrance at early hours in the morning. I miss falling asleep in the backseat of my family' s car as we drive to a restaurant for dinner. I miss seeing my classmates at the local Subway but being too awkward to say hi. This mix reminds me of all of those things. Some kind of bittersweet feelings come from this music. I used to long for a beautiful life in a busy but thriving city, now I just wish for my boring life in the suburbs to return back to normal. It really shows how grateful you can be when everything is taken away from you.

R.I.P Nujabes. I enjoy chill hip hop/ low fi hip hop and came across this mix while listening to Beethoven.. I’m so happy it was a pleasant surprise with that first track. Thank you.

Thank you, Fantastic Music. I always come back to this tape. To me, hands down the best lofi stuff ever produced. Calm, intimate, just puts me in a good place everytime.

I hope the artwork is based off a real place because those are the type of places that everyone deserves to live in and/or go to. Just walking when the sun’s going down, while listening to this with your headphones. It has a very zen energy to it.

The thing that amazes me about wanting to live in this picture is that it isn't the location anymore. It's the people. I can only imagine being surrounded by that many people. Even just walking the streets like that. A whole breath of life. Never thought I would love community that much, but damn I am ready for it.

I play this music on my Bluetooth speaker when I work Totally eases the mood

I tune into this every morning and start my day.

the calmness and simplicity of this music makes me feel so calm. it helps me focus while working and allows me to erase my thoughts of anxiety and focus on my task at hand. this is absolutely amazing music, thank you so much for this.

I've been listening to this for 3 years now, and I gotta say this is one of the best lineups of tracks i've heard

This takes me back to my third year of university back in 2018; learning how to skate, hanging with friends, running the film club on campus, then capping it off with a trip to Japan at the end of the year. 'Flow On' just puts my mind at ease.
