I don't own any luxury bags however the original puzzle definitely has better eye appeal and I can tell between the two how much care and thought went into the puzzle bag. Puzzle bag for me ✔️.

Well, this bag is now off my wish list.

The very first version was perfect with feet and a cool adjustable strap. Then they took away the feet and switched to a plain strap. Now this shoddy Frankenstein? Heads will roll.

The original bag will become very valuable. Looks as if corporate greed strikes again. I predict failure in getting people to pay for the Edge.

Exactly. No way. It’s a mess. Wanted a puzzle for a long time and this news forced me to do it. No way would I ever rock an edge.

But many will ....actually instead of paying for a hiked up price of this rubbish product the customers should go straight to the cheaper copies...and nobody would be the wiser 😊

The puzzle bag is my favourite bag. The design, leather the look superb. Very upsetting to see

Probably will be a big price hike along with the dumbing down of the overall design. This will not go down well with Loewe buyers. It will also make the Puzzle bags more valuable for resale.

Yes, to the price hike...and yes to the dumbing down of product...but....maybe both are deserved because customers are accepting it!!! And, yes, the original was a piece of art....

From a business standpoint, it makes production quicker and cheaper. From a consumer standpoint, it sucks because this is not the bag that they're coming to the brand for. They want the original. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I have the older version and it looks alot better!

I like the strap and feet on the Edge. Otherwise, the puzzle is much more attractive and luxurious.

I like the look of the edge, but craftsmanship is part of what makes a bag, or anything for that matter, great. I can understand people being upset.

I do not like the Edge. I've been looking to buy the original Puzzle Bag, but if I can't find one I like before it switches to the new design, I will go without!

I occasionally resell handbags and by the look of the second bag I would immediately think it's a fake. The stitching shouldn't be visible from so far away and it looks slapped together and sewn with some big industrial needles with a heavy hand. Imo they are intentionally driving up the price of the original for whatever reason 🙄

The Edge bag looks really cheap for something so exorbitant. What was wrong with the Puzzle bag? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?

They can make it cheaper to produce and increase their margin

They’re doing it to save money on craftsman and materials. No thanks. The puzzle was one of their most iconic bags. Looks like another brand is weaseling their way into “NAH” territory.

edge is probably cheaper to make. Hence more profit. Greedy companies as usual.....

Poor decision on their part. It screams cash grab. "Let's reduce costs by making the bag easier to make but (probably) increase the price." You buy items like this to own something high quality that will last forever. Not something tgat looks like ut have the potential to rip... Just my thoughts.

They've already changed the bag but it's still called Puzzle. New cheap version doesn't fall like a puzzle anymore.

I don't mind either. I have the original in large size (discontinued). Will get my hand on the Edge in the future.

The stitches on the Edge look cheap. I believe they're cutting corners to make more money...I'm so disappointed.

I’m horrified. From all bags, I do mind Loewe with their craftsmanship reputation to do this. I really do not like how the edge is sewed together.

glad i still have and use my puzzle bag few years ago. still holds up to its standards. a teat of time and wear.

The old bag looks better, but if they just added the feet and the new strap, it would’ve been good. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it smh

Reduce quality and increase cost. Bottom line is more profit for shareholders so why should we be surprised?

Don’t buy it, period!! Consumers have to be smart how They spend their money. If is not worth it, don’t buy it

Have original version with and without feet and i love them.

Making it cheaper to raise the price. More profit. Now made from scraps.

Interested to see what they're going to do at the 1 year release mark when they release the significant decrease in sales.

I think they still have the feet and the wider strap on the medium classic puzzle the smaller ones don't have it though

People will buy pre-loved original design which will make the pre-loved price go through the roof. Especially the ones with the feet ... ugh

I HATE that they discontinued the original Puzzle. There was room for both models and you’re right, only the original showcases Loewe’s craftsmanship. I was about to snag another OG color and planned to buy more over the years, now can’t find any new ones left. Boo Loewe! Comes across as another money grab move by the luxury conglomerates. Why cut quality and production costs to a point the customer loses interest when they can and do charge whatever they want?! If Loewe weren’t owned by LVMH I’d bet this wouldn’t have happened! 🙄 If it’s hard to make the OG Puzzle, just limit quantities each year like Hermes does. I’d waitlist!

Oh no! I paid 2 and a half for my puzzle bag and if that edge is really going to be sold by them its a travesty because they’ll be asking thousands for them,craftsmanship is ruff.looks like something you’d buy after 4 drinks in on 2wk jolly abroad.😢 awful

No, it's made from 75 pieces of leather, not just 9. It takes 9 hours to make. And yeah discontinuing the classic puzzle is the most preposterous thing they've done

The new bag is, shall we say, less than pretty... It looks like a knock-off of the original. Corporate greed strikes again. This is why we can't have nice things 😒

I'm not a fan of Loewe at all and I don't like the puzzle bag, However..... Objectively they have been cheaping out each time the bag steps up in popularity. The new version looks sloppy and removing feet is never aa good idea.

The original is better. The new version looks very cheap.

These so called luxury brands are just cutting corners and raising prices. It's so bad. I never liked this bag but the craftsmanship of the original is so much better.

I believe if you have the older one, hold on to it IMO.

I think the new Edge version is no where made as well as the original. I was tempted to buy the puzzle bag a few times but was never that bowled over. It is really annoying when brands mess too much with a design that has been popular. It’s the same with skincare and make-up formulas. They tend to lose their magic.

The Edge looks like a basketball married a soccer ball. It’s not luxury anymore

The couldn’t even be bothered to include a swivel strap which is the most annoying think about the current design.

I only own a few LV pieces. ( pochette Métis, zippy wallet, and the multi pochette) and looking to slowly continue expanding my love of luxury this & luxury that ) And I swear these brands are on a fixed timer to self detonate and self sabotage…and it’s sad to say but I’m not surprised anymore! I mean are we surprised still or becoming desensitized it seems?… Part of me wishes I started my Journey in this vast luxury World years ago.

The bag is meant to be able to be folded.. So with the new design we can't do that anymore?

This sounds new to me. Because when you buy such pricy bag they don't lay around in your house. I have mine in a closet so no dust there.

The puzzle edge isn't new. It's been out w/the original puzzle since I believe 2015. As far as the feet, it's available on size medium and large on the original puzzle, the puzzle edge don't have feet. Leather on both styles are still top quality. I have the original and luv it and will be buying the puzzle edge too. The last 3 seasons, the puzzle edges that have been released, are gorgeous.
