The trophy couldn’t have gone to a more humble person than Mr Harman in my opinion! Played the course perfectly, plotting a score around, so we’ll deserved 👏🏽⛳️ PS and the Open content this year was absolutely spot on, giving us lovers of the game a real insight of what it takes to be a top player, hats off to the team………

As a Lefty myself I am always cheering those players on. To see another one capture The Claret Jug in those conditions, with no one seriously challenging him, made the tears flow on Sunday. Brian Harman deserves all this success.

What a tournament from Brian Harman. Absolutely mercurial and almost faultless golf in the very worst of conditions. Well deserved. Shame there were not more people there at the end but he'd mugged the field and the weather was appalling. Does not detract from Brian absolutely ripping the field apart. A most worthy champion golfer for 2023.

Can't get past how he holds his pen. :-) Have played some fun rounds at his home course at Southbridge in Savannah, but lots more tennis there with some seriously fun and crazy southern folk. Can definitely relate with this fine southern gentleman. Bet we'll be seeing lots more gloves hanging from umbrellas down the road, too. Not sure how appreciated it is just how smart he is.

Unbelievable performance and love how he handled the pressure in horrible rain and wind conditions on day four. Even better is Brian is 5’7” in the land of giant long ball busters he shows accuracy will always be a premium over 320 yard bombers. I feel for him though. Not a single family member there to congratulate the man who just won the greatest venue in golf. Kudos to The Open directors who put 260,000 spectators on the grounds when the US Open totally flopped in Los Angelos with less than one fourth of this on a horrible course. Thank goodness for Pinehurst in 2024. Sell tickets USGA at reasonable rates and promote golf you greedy bastards.

Inconsistent and Inappropriate for a humble man…In his press conference, he said that he was going to let his game do the talking, and he should’ve left it at that. And who does love a guy who's idea of a splurge is a Kubota Tractor ( the Rolls Royce of acreage living!) .. wish I had one. My assumption is a solid human, strong family man and exceptional golfer ( we can all see the golfer aspect.. now what about the other two?) .. So with that in mind, I am not going to ignore two little yellow flags, but rather inquire and / or hold onto them for more info... Doesn't change my opinion of him (seems liker a great family man with strong character), total my kind of person. However actions and behavior's speak louder that words. So don't tell the world in your winning presser that you are not the type of person to exact pressure on others to full fill your dream, especially your 'friend' ("I would not put any pressure on Zach for a Ryder Cup selection and we are friends and i would never do that to a friend') , only then in a matter of 3 minutes bring the pressure, on his friend... Tacky at the very least and potentially telling at its worst .. Just saying... Zach looked embarrassed and replied .. kindaa sorta .. 'shut up and' ' keep doing what your doing'. And for the record, he absolutely has earned the right to be on the Ryder Cup Team .. Side bar: Just as Brookes had earned the right for a spot on the Ryder Cup (before he won the PGA Championship) , but held off due to his irrelevant LIV association .. He IS / WAS the #1 American at the Masters AND THAT, and his resume as a top 5 world class golfer WAS NOT ENOUGH). I’m disgusted that environmental damage has caused 17th hole for tv jeopardy that never happened , the re build now starts when that hole is re dug up to return to the members , what a cost that is to the environment , that is such a contradiction from its strap line this week, forged by nature , 😢. Rip royal and ancient you got this event wrong and slumber needs to go , hoylake will suffer environmentally after this week , it’s not needed your circus anymore at hoylake , as I suspect Saudi will see an open in next 9 years, once slumber sells out as moinan did at the pga . Pigs noses in money troughs. This is sportwashing at its best rip 9-11 victims and the hoylake environment course and community was abused for 12 months with another 6 months .
