Despite yet another gem from Chris Sale, the Atlanta Braves were unable to get the best of the Chicago White Sox, who rode Luis Robert's first-inning home run to a 1-0 victory on Thursday.

At what point do people stop making excuses to continue to defend this team?
Only Braves offense can make an average pitcher look like an all star...my hat off to Sale he pitched great!
Duvall has to go
It seems the Braves on the road swing at bad pitching and they don’t do the small things to drive in runs like moving runners from second to third by hitting the ball on the left side and the swing and misses this is driving me crazy
If the Braves are playing like this. You almost don’t want to go to the PO just to get booted in the first round again

Since June 17 Olson is 4/38, even worse than Duvall's 3/26.
I agree, the baseballs are just not flying like last year in general. Earlier today Marcel hits a ball hard, correct launch angle and it dies at the warning track….. yes the Braves have really begun to hit the long ball lately over the past two weeks but how many times have we watched a ball that everyone thinks is going out just die over and over. I’m also confused at why Ramone was not in the lineup tonight, he’s been seeing the ball. Duvall is just a liability at the plate right now…. This loss stings but this doesn’t mean the offence has forgotten all their progress. All they can do is pick themselves up and learn from it. The journey is not over

People have to stop blaming the balls. It doesn’t seem to be affecting the Phillies or Dodgers. There is a problem with the balls though. It’s that our team has none.
Facts are Laureano needs to play! The Braves need an outfielder, and a SP if not 2
Caught a MASSIVE break today as Philly lost to Miami and Shwarber and Harper BOTH seem to be hurt in the 9th inning (groin and hamstring). The universe is giving Atlanta a chance. They better take it quick.

Man, I'm as big of a Braves fan as any of y'all, but I respect the hell out of Harper and hate seeing this happen to him. He has grown up a lot since his early douchebag years with the Nats.

@@David-ig5rz Im not saying I'm happy anyone got hurt. I'm saying if the braves are going to have a chance to make up ground it's right now with 2 of their best players going down.

@kyleOWillFixIt Oh yeah, I agree with this. I don't like that they're hurt but if they lose some games because of it, the Braves need to use that to make up some ground.

We should not take relief in any player getting hurt. Not cool. I hate players getting hurt don’t care what team they are on
This team can’t be given any props. Soon as you do, they back to stinking, not being able to hit a single lick. Incoming pirates sweep this weekend. Stick a fork in these Braves. Will be 44-38 by the end. Book it.

I disagree. Yes there has been struggles but over the past 12 games or so they have consistently scored 6+ runs in 7 of those games. They have made a lot of adjustments. That doesn’t mean every series and game is gonna be an explosion. Yes getting shutout by the white Sox was not good but if you think this offence is all of a sudden bad and that’s it, the only person you’re fooling is yourself.

@@liamscorgie8859The offense isn't "all of a sudden" bad. They've been bad for most of the season. They were quite literally the worst in baseball for about 7 weeks before the last game in Baltimore. They got hot for a week and then started sucking again.

Absolutely disgusting performance from the lineup yet again wasting another great performance from our starting pitching.
