Remember this episode from some time ago because of Phil's splitting his pants! Good for the couple who followed their dream to negotiate upward in order to secure the house. As for the family with the 3 boys, I think they'd better look more aggressively, before the market climbs upward and beyond what they can afford.

The land on which sat the third house Emma and Paul saw was really steep. That's truly a disadvantage. But I loved the house! I liked it way more than the much pricier houses the other couple visited. I don't know why they objected to the area, but then again I don't know Birmingham. I do hope they found something to suit them. They seem to have their heads screwed down right.

It’s because of lack of experience. They hear having a south facing garden is the way to go and that only lends itself to tunnel vision and inexperience. Hard lessons that may or may not be learned.🤷♀️

They live in England, in the winter the sun is a lot farther north than what you imagine. The back of the house will be in shadow all Winter.

This made me smile, I watch this 19:56. Phil walks past a wall, tapping it, and saying, take this down, easy... ignoring the fact that there is a radiator on it. Then at 26:24 he says the fact that there is a garage in your face at the front of the house adds to the privacy.

The English are so funny about the directions their garden faces😂! I’ve lived in multiple homes, built two of them and not once was the direction of the backyard an issue… I guess it’s my American outlook and better weather.

Hey American viewers, did you see- all these houses DON'T have a clothes dryer, only a washing machine. Brits hang up their towels, jeans, sheets indoors when it rains. No kidding, so dark ages. I always had an American dryer living in UK.

Keep in mind that the UK is considerably smaller so housing is more at a premium. Also, it depends on where in the US. Oklahoma or Kentucky, sure. Anywhere people would actually want to live in, no lol

I think your very judgmental, I didn't sense any aggressiveness and unbearable is quite extreme. They're in a situation where there's dozens of houses in their budget so they don't need to buy the first house they see. Being particular about the biggest purchase of your life is pretty common.
