💯 rightly emphasize PERSONAL accountability! Story unfolds like a massive conspiracy for which a wide prosecution could be plausible. But more likely a large cast of incompetent and indifferent individual actors whose motives and criminal conduct would be tough to prove.

@A H that is not the truth... the doctor on their case for life support cases rarely knows what the family has decided with the organ donation team... even if you put on your license or in your will that you wish to be a organ donor that can easily be overpowered by your next of kin... some organs like the heart do require the heart to be taken out before any damage is done and often this is a short time from the proverbial "plug" being pulled but that is not the case for MANY parts of the body that are donated on a regular basis... how many people do you think we have on life support who are organ donors in the USA? I can tell you no where near the numbers we need for the amount of organ transplants done here 🙄 the reality of why they push for the plug pulled is actually far worse in my opinion... it's money and simply money... it costs the hospital insane amount of time, equipment, drugs, labs, etc... to keep someone on full life support. They know that the insurance companies will not pay for the vast majority of that and they could treat 10 patients a day with everything they put into that 1 person who is very unlikely to recover with a good quality of life in their opinion that is it... at least if it was about organ donation and their beliefs that they would not get better anyway it would be a ethical gray area but to make a life about their profit margins... there's just no way I can justify that

Best practice in life is to "Question Everything". Pay attention to detail. My primary doctor had me on Thyroid medication for years. Hypothyroidism was his claim to fame. I stopped getting health care for five years. 11 surgeries and a few near fatal illnesses, I needed a break. When I returned to his practice, he dud the usual CBC bloodwork. Fully expecting to resume the Thyroid medicine, a perfect Thyroid level returns in the lab report. Miracly cured? I don't think so. The last I knew, Hypothyroid is a lifetime taking the meds. Also, there was an instance where I was looking through my electronic chart and listed in my diagnoses was Crohn's Disease. I don't have the disease. When I wrote a email to the primary to question why Crohn's was listed. All I got for a reply from him was. "I don't know that is listed and I cannot remove it from your chart until I see you." A couple of days later, that data was no longer in my chart. I don't trust doctors. It does not profit them to make one "well". They get kick backs for mass prescribing medications and they keep you going through the revolving door. If you take a stand at advocating for yourself, they don't like that. I am a former Mental Health employee and I could not hack working in the field once the insider perspective opened my eyes to the scam. Just question everything. Knowledge is power.

This happened to my Mother who was of sound mind. Every week we saw her, she was so drugged up. She asked us to always bring her a potted plant so she could secretly hide some of the meds into it when staff wasn’t looking. I fought for two years and won to get her out of that facility, who was charging my Dad over $5000 a month. She finally was given to me to live, shop and go places as she did before that horrible place until she passed away. Let me add, a nurse at that place, who was an angel, didn’t like the treatment they were giving her and would tell us all of what was going on including the daily over medicating. I don’t know how much they billed her medical insurance but my father had to sell his rental property and pay their final bill of $200,000. So what happened to this family is definitely happening elsewhere!

For profit corporate healthcare is the problem here. Note that there have been a number of candidates who have run for Congress and other offices in recent years who have sought to reform our healthcare system and had specific, serious proposals for how to do so. But aggressive media attacks intended to convince the uninformed public that those candidates were somehow evil or un-American have been sadly far too successful. The baker act is a violation of basic human rights. If someone didnt commit a crime or harm or endanger anyone else or their property, they have the right to be left alone. Self ownership means people can do whatever they want with themself as long as it doesnt violate others right, that includes self harm such as eating junk food, smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol (all of which r some of the top causes of death), and kill themself. It doesn't seem the baker act was being abused in this case, but instead being used as it was intended.

Like banks operate.. Funny thing here is though that these doctors/manager always claim to act according to their Christian ethics and moral rules while in fact these people just follow the rules of greedism and atheists who has never ever read even one single page of the bible. Like Trump couldn't quote any bible verse but still managed to fool most Christians into thinking that Donald Trump is as honest as mister god himself and really cares for the sick and poor. .

The Tampa Bay area has had a serious issue with psychiatric care quality and access to proper treatment since I lived there in 1992. The court did not do enough to ensure sufficient oversight was given to this case. This absolutely should have included a demand for the hospital to show blood levels of meds to make sure he was not over or under medicated. Over use of psychiatric medications has been classified as misuse of restraints. They chemically restrained this man till he died. How does he get sepsis in a controlled unit like that?

Same thing is happening to patients who are admitted for the virus or for something other then the virus and while there of course are tested and show a positive C19 test. There was just a case where a judge ruled against the hospital. This was just days ago. They told the wife who they would not allow to see her husband that, and they said it just like this, your husband is going to die! So we are taking him off the ventilator. They refused for weeks to give him any hydration, food, vitamins, like C, D A, just normal vitamins and minerals your body needs daily to function and fight disease. When they finally let the wife see him, it had been 10 days I believe, he had lost like 30 lbs. She begged them to give him some nutrition and they refused. And also to change treatment since what they were doing wasn’t working , they refused. When y wife asked why they couldn’t administer vitamin C, they said it wasn’t in the hospital/CDC protocol. So the wife filed an emergency court hearing with the help of a lawyer fighting cases like this all over this country with hospitals. Some doctors in Texas heard what was going on again at Mercy hospital in I believe Minnesota, and told the lawyer they would handle his care. The hospital actually hired lawyers to defend them so they could end his life by removing him off the ventilator. They hired lawyers to be able to end a life! A hospital! Who’s job is to do EVERYTHING, to keep someone alive! Not starve and drug them to death. Judge agreed !! But before the final judgment came down, the wife was on the Stew Peters show. He has a huge fan base. The hospital was so overwhelmed with calls from people appalled at their behavior of actually hiring a lawyer to continue their psycho behavior to want to end his life , they had to shut their main switch board down. The hospital called the PD but now the hospital is being investigated for criminal charges as well as civil. Since then two other families have come forward. Its all about the money! But the doctors in Texas through donations of all the people that called the hospital and others, were able to two hire two highly trained medics on the and get med helicopter and brought him from Minnesota to TX . They immediately started treating him with fluids, vitamins etc and yes the dreaded Iver and his oxygen levels are increasing and he will be taken off the ventilator soon if he already hasn’t been by now!

Went to his doctor for a routine check up...at first they said he had a low blood count. Two minutes later upon discovering that my niece died of leukemia, my brother was told that if he didn't seek treatment he would come down with it too. That was amazing that a low blood count could suddenly develop into leukemia. It's the $2million they wanted.

Also healthcare workers should be paid for making willing people healthy, not just selling them as many exspesnive treatments as possible to treat their symptoms but never cure the problem. Well if he didn't have serious behavior issues when he went in, he sure will when he's hooked up to drugs and then taken off of them , suffering drug withdrawal which in turn causes behavior issues. Behavior issues such as being angry, sad, happy, etc. are normal behavior and nor does anyone have to be inclined to incriminate themselves or speak of why they are feeling such thing. It's perfectly okay to be paranoid in society, people are naturally not always in your best interest unless it benefits them. According to disability law books online, a lot of things regarding involuntary hospitalizations are unconstitutional but barely anyone fights it because the hospitals take away your legal fees by overcharging you before you can fight back meaningfully.

They don't care about others, they r greedy victimizing and lying about people for money. Ban mandatory treatment. Ban guardianships for people who dont want them. If someone understands what guardianship is and doesnt want it, they probably dont need it. I would also push for criminal charges b/c they murdered him with those drugs. The family lawyer can subpoena those medical records. There are few good solutions for people with chronic mental health issues, who need help caring for themselves. In Michigan, many folks used to get locked up in massive mental hospitals and were out of sight, out of mind. Michigan did away with most of those hospitals. Now a number of the chronically ill end up houseless or in jail. We need to do better in this nation.

If they need help caring for themselves i think they should be offered a house or apartment where they have an assistant cook, clean, and shop for them if they want it, but they should not be forced to live there.

Follow the money. The hospital made $900,000 from the government for housing him a year. That’s seems like a good gig to me.

He was in a group home and had to go to the hospital for something they couldn't handle there. His brothers and sisters weren't taking him into their homes. What solution was the family hoping for? The level of neglect and malpractice at the hospital are entirely separate questions.

How the hell is death from sepsis, pneumonia and lethal levels of psychotropics NATURAL CAUSES? This is sadly an all to common story that goes unreported on by the media. My own family has dealt with issues similar to this and it almost killed my cousin. My heart goes out to this family and all family's and individuals who are dealing with this legalized medical abuse.
