Hey Loaf, just started Deadside up again. Haven't played since building bases was added. I started watching your videos again since you popped up in my feed and it has fully brought me back. Keep up the good work!

instead tons of weapons (as there are plenty already) players actually like to have way better base building system, electricity in bases, traps etc. to keep them busy. Not many like to just run around the map from trader to trader. Also are the devs gonna make the boat driving more realisic? Its like sliding on perfect ice...no bouncing around like boats should usually act

I agree. Base building needs a slight overhaul to make it necessary for progression instead of just a place to store extra loot.

This. Gun selection is actually pretty great - it’s the other aspects of the game keeping me from playing more. Once you accumulate a few sets and cash stacks, there’s just nothing to do. If there were dynamic/puzzle POIs like in Rust and SCUM, it would elevate the game to a whole 'nother level.

Yea the game definitely doesn’t need more weapons. Doesn’t keep people playing the game longer. We need QOL changes to abused game mechanics and a longer gameplay loop with a more well rounded gear sink

@@RustyBear Sure those would be cool, just don't think guns are a high priority over things that will help the game grow.

hello loaf. great vids. btw do you know if this is a bug? been playing for a month maybe. I logged out then login back after a couple of hours and all my gears are gone. spawned on the other side of the map.

You should make a video on youre settings like keybinds you use youre in game setting and also youre nvidea settings and graphic stuff.

The SKar that is in the game is Modeled as a SCAR H being the 7.62 variant of the gun yet it uses 5.56. Is this a bug or some kinda over sight?

This game has to figure out how to fill in the empty spaces with something, look at rust ,there is always something to get or loot. This is to much a running sim, but getting better. To slowly,but better.

No, game needs content, not suppression. Especially snipers, imagine getting shot from 200+ and having no idea where its coming from and essentially no chance to fight back. Especially because all the veterans (including myself) play a decent amount of time each day and would have so many suppressors and just murder everyone all day long

Loaf why do you keep that armour in safezone and wear it? It doesn’t do anything lol. Nothing. Only the heavy assault vest (78,000) offers any protection. You out of all people should know that vest your wearing 4:01 does nothing

The vest I'm wearing at 4:01 offers a 40% damage reduction against ARs, Heavy Assault is only 5% better, offing 45% reduction. No idea why or how you think heavy assault is the only armor that works, even basic police armor will allow you to tank a Mosin shot

@@LoafDS this isn’t true vs AI damage. For players I don’t know because it takes a millisecond to kill people regardless of any armour. Needs to be way more this is why hardly anyone runs armour

@@TransitionedToAShark No it's exactly the same against AI, they deal the same damage as a player. I'm a developer of this game so it's not like I'm making this stuff up, go check out the official wiki my guy. Oh and by the way, with decent armor it takes around 0.35-0.6 seconds to kill a player, depending on how fast your weapon shoots, so it's a lot more than just a millisecond. I have a damage spreadsheet on my channel banner that has all of the relevant stats

@@LoafDS I know you are. That’s why I’m subbed. 700 hours played and I feel nothing on the armour except the max one. I’ll test it some more but they still seem pointless. Is an armour buff anything that’s been discussed? The data will show the % who use it and I can guarantee it’s below 30%

@@TransitionedToAShark2k hours here and coming to inform you that the armors do infact protect you. The tiers go as follows, police vest 30% (i think dont quote me) tactical armored vest 30% assault vest 40% and heavy vest 45% ANY armor will protect you from a mosin shot if hit in the armor (you will be like 10hp) but you will survive one shot from a mosin.

@@LoafDS scorp kills faster, way cheaper, and you can actually find ammo for it. Scorp serves its purpose better than the pp. I did say it was a hot take lol

​@@_Lurks_ I totally agree! The Scorp is a great gun with a crazy firerate and almost no perceptible recoil. On the server I play on I buy the extended mags for the scorp for 5k from other players. The Scorp is a firm part of my standard loadout.

Really disappointed with the EXTREMELY slow development of this game. This game has SO much untapped potential but seems like there's minimal effort going into it. I'm sure my statement is partly wrong but damn I'm just frustrated with it.
