Everyone uses assault rifles or carbines. Because they're the best. But I don't like to use the best so I use shotguns.

Oldschool Soviet Loadout RPK-74M Heavy Barrel Stubby Grip Do not use Weapon Paint. Secondary of your choice. Fight at long ranges with the iron sight, the RPK-74M with Heavy Barrel has very small spread.

My favourite weapon so far. It's dead on, I can shoot for hours with little recoil, and reloads quick enough for me. And it feels so right, the rof is nice, it's recoil is stupid low, and other little, non game changing things, it sounds great, looks great, and... Damn, it just feels good to use.

Vernon682 You should use the Bulldog. It's has the edge over all ARs. You have to have an angled grip/muzzle break or suppressor/muzzle break, otherwise there'll be too much muzzle rise.

wouldn't it be better to use a laser and not the Iron sight i mean you can pretty much accomplish what the Iron sight dose with that gun if you you are accurate with the hip fire.

Stat-wise, I think the Scout Elite has at least one of the fastest RPM of all the bolt-action rifles, & a good reload time, which makes it ideal for an aggressive recon loadout.

It has a higher per minute than any other sniper rifle, also, it's terribly inaccurate and the bullets move slower. So yes, close range.

King of the Carbines? AK 5C Coyote (or RDS) Tac Light (or Flashlight) Muzzle Break Potato Grip (or Stubby) Any class works Personally, the 5C is my favorite carbine in the game. It has little recoil, decent fire rate, has the fastest bullet velocity of all carbines (I think), and is great at medium - long range.

Try it naked for some reason no matter how many kills I get with it nothing unlocks ak5c has decent sights but higher time to kill than say the aek which is a beast with attachments naked it sucks. But they unlock so much faster not liking the new unlock system

Yeah, I found dom on Zavod was good for mid - short range, AK5C + suppressor on that map is great, They don't know where you are most of the time.

Spec ops M4 carbine,holo sight,suppressor vertical grip(or angled) ,tactical light. Compact 45,sight of your choice,green laser sight,suppressor. Poke balls. C4. Flash bang or Smoke. Survival,Scout or Bowie knife. Spec ops field upgrade obviously. Greeting from Malta. :)

I love the AUG so much, it was my favorite assault rifle on BF3, in that game if you put the right attachments on that thing it is beast! Now in BF4 It is still that beast gun it used to be.

Now that you have spec ops can I recommend this for next loadout? SG553 coyote sight, ergo grip, green laser sight, and no barrel attachment (unless you are going close quarters that use any supressor of your choice) Sidearm- Compact 45 (better M1911) because of more bullets Pokeballs and C4 Spec Ops field upgrade

Scar-H Holo sight (your choice) + Magnifier Muzzle Brake Angled/Folding Grip With a high damage but slower rate of fire, this makes a good medium range weapon. The Muzzle Brake and Angled Grip help with the extremely high upwards recoil, along with the slower rate of fire helps make this rifle very controllable for longer ranges, yet still viable in a closer range encounter. I have also found this set up is very good with a medium range scope and canted iron sights, although slightly harder to control for longer bursts.

AnderZel already did an all shotty loadout. Iw was pretty good.

I really like how Levelcap goes in to great detail and just covers everything people need to know about weapons. Very professional.

U.N. Peacekeeper- M16A4- Iron Sights, Muzzle Brake, Vertical Grip M9- no attachments Medkit/Defibrillator Combat Medic Spec Smoke Any naval camo on everything (the Flat Naval looks amazing on the M9) -Since it is one of the later unlocks, I haven't had a chance to play around with the M16 that much. I beg the question, how good is it? Additionally, as a challenge for your professional skills, you have a mandate: Revive as many people as you can, act as a support medic and DO NOT FIRE UNLESS FIRED UPON. If you break mandate, the U.N. won't give you any of that awesome cake that they hide in the LAV. And its worth it... Have fun getting shot at!

Ace 52 with any close range sight you like. Compensator and a stubby. Compact .45 stock. Any game mode. Its the most powerful carbine in the game, its a 3 shot kill with 34 dmg up to 8 meters... CQB monster.

I don't really understand some of the weapon changes from battlefield 3 to 4. Most notably, buffing the already OP AEK while nerfing the solid but definitely not OP G36C and AUG

Scar H HD-33 [1X] Angled Grip Silencer Green laser sight. Fn-5-7 Ghost ring Silencer Red laser sight With V40 mini grenades M320 SMK And medic bag. Field upgrade of your choice.

The Underdog Loadout. -U-100 MK5: Heavy Barrel, Kobra or Coyote,2x Magnifier and any grip of your choice. -MP443 Pistol with Ghost Ring and any other attachments of your choice. -Any equipment of your choice. It would be a good idea to play on large conquest maps or rush as the U-100 is awful at close range but can be very accurate and great at long / mid range. Tis gun is often overlooked but I think that, with the right attachments and right map, it can be very good.

RFB (Heavy Barrel, Canted Ironsight, Angled / Folding Grip, FLIR scope), Sidearm & Grenade of choice, Med Kit, M320 to open paths and blow cover. This loadout works great on Paracel Storm and Flood Zone, since the FLIR can spot enemies swimming underwater and has a fine 2X zoom the DMR can use.

loadout : HECKLER & KOCH, German tech. MG4 light machine gun. -any 1 time scope (red dot, kobra, coyote, etc...) -stubby grip -muzzle break or suppressor -laser sight -Compact 45 pimped like you want. -any grenade -ammo box -XM25.

My point is not that i like H&K. but their gun in the game are pretty great. and mainly i wanted LevelCap to use the MG4, so i tried to find a theme, and when i saw other guns and psitols where german tech from H&K i decide to name it like that (because that's accidently my actual setup, mg4 and compact for the support ;) )

Stealth Engineer CBJ-MS with red dot, suppressor, and laser sight. 1911 with suppressor, mini RDS and tactical light ( I was lucky to get the tac light but a regular flashlight will suffice) RPG-7V2 Mines Impact grenade. Ain't-tank field upgrade. This is currently how I'm playing as engineer and it seems to work great. The CBJ-MS has decent RPM and when burst fired can take don't enemies from a good distance. Plus the hip fire for CQB is great and the 50+1 capacity doesn't hurt! Staying off the minimap and having the ability to destroy armor is a deadly combo.

Such as this AUG which has flashlight attach on the left side and not right side, look very cool!

I love the Aug and it performs very well for me. I have tac light, suppressor, Potatoe grip with coyote sight. Works well for flanking.

Full Chinese Army Loadout: MEDIC CLASS -QBZ-95-1 w/ Chinese Holosight, Heavy Barrel, Angled grip -QSZ-92 w/ Ghost Ring, Laser Sight & Suppressor -Medkit & Defibs -V40 Mini I find the Chinese weapons to be one of my favourites right now in Battlefield 4. The AR QBZ-95-1 has low recoil and is excellent at medium to close range, while the fast RPM of your secondary will save you if you need to reload or don't have ammo. I really like this setup and I hope you will too. Enjoy :)

wait just a goddamn minute... they removed the increased drop off buff from the HB? That was the biggest selling point in BF3! If all it does is increase your accuracy a bit now in exchange for more vertical recoil, then there's no point in using it on most weapons anymore unless they have a large spread... That feels like a mistake to me. Guns like the SCAR-H that have big damage but low Muzzle Velocity & RoF etc. really benefited from that attachment in BF3 as it made hitting people at range (where they are more effective) much easier. Great video as usual LC I just can't believe DICE ruined what used to be such a great attachment.

epicDuftbaum Even if they don't restore the increased damage range (which they should) at the very least it should still increase the Muzzle Velocity to help weapons like the SCAR-H and SAR-21 perform better at mid~long range as they're intended to. As it is, The muzzle break/compensator kind of overshadow the other attachments (unless you want a suppressor for stealth) by nulifying recoil. However the accuracy penalty also really hurts for long range. Honestly I think it was just fine the way it was in BF3, especially since overall the guns seem a bit better balanced this time (the M4 isn't nearly as OP as it was in BF3 and there is no M16A3, only the A4). It would also help make the carbines and DMRs much, MUCH better weapons.

In BF 3, there was no need to use something else than Foregrip+Heavy Barrel. This was the best setup, no doubt. Why should they increase muzzle velocity? Assault Rifles have the highest muzzle velocities out of all guns. The Sar-21 has no recoil and is amazing at long range. The Scar is very good also. Why do you want 1 combination to be the best one? Muzzle Break adds 30% penalty to your accruacy by reducing the recoil. That is also fine. Carbines are very good weapons now. If you Buff carbines that much, nobody would you a lmg or bolt action rifle anymore. Same with PDWs. You get 50% better accuracy, higher muzzle velocity added to the high muzzle velocities. That would make the Heavy Barrel the best attachment, no doubt. DMRs just need a slight accuracy buff, and maybe a decreased RoF.

Also, people exaggerate the effect of RPM. Going from the AUG to the M416 (700 to 750 RPM) changes your time-to-kill by a microscopic 0.017 seconds. Literally the blink of an eye. It's very rare both shooters will begin firing so close together that the fight is decided by 50 RPM. But when people lose a fight to an m416 while using the AUG, they blame the gun, when probably the other person shot first, or more accurately.

Blame the bad netcode for getting 1st shot then opponent turns around while eating 1/2 a mag and appears to fire 1-3 shots ur dead. He's behind 3 buildings an impossible shot u couldn't see who killed u how the hell could he see u 4seconds of lag. Smh

- M870 with tac-light and full choke for amazing short to medium range instagibs when ADSing. - CZ75 with laser, whichever RDS and a heavy barrel - which is quite good on pistols! - RGO Impact Grenades - these bad boys are quite quite the standard already. - Offensive or Spec Ops Perk I do not really care which class you actually use, except the Medic, with this setup. aug a3 is my best gun in bf4 right now. it lets me get rounds on target faster than other guns for some reason. it feels like a laser when i play, compared to other guns

Sneaky Bastard class: (play on hardcore infantery) RFB with Flir 2x IRNV, green laser sight, suppressor, angled/folding grip M1911 with DELTA sight, tri beam laser sight, suppressor. Motion sensor T-UGS Flashbang field upgrade path: shadow. Play on lots of infantery maps, try to sneak behind enemies and thake them down from behind, use sensors to locate enemies, and flashbangs to blind them if they see you. Good luck and greetings from sweden **If you would play this with a friend, let him use the same setup but with first aid pack and defibrillators. (or ammo box and ammo pack to resuply ammo and flashbangs)

I've just tried AUG and so far it's my favourite AR in the game. I've got 310 kills with several ARs: SCAR, AEK, AK-12, L85. AUG is seriously superior overall (across all ranges). Ofc, AEK is better up close, but at mid to long range I even like AUG more than SCAR.

Modern Warfare 2 Trick Shotting Class. SRR-61 (Intervention) with 8x Scope and Straight Bolt pull only. Preferably Blue Tiger camo (closet to Modern Warfare 2). 93R pistol with nothing attached. Use claymore and MAV (as UAV killstreak). Use sniper field upgrade and have fun! Greetings from Minnesota!

Aug A3 w/ coyote, angled grip and anything else. Any side arm med kit and defibs is such an amazing kit setup. The aug is so damn accurate and decimates your opponents

next gun review: worst carbine ever? HKG36C tryout each attachment(though i ensure it would still sux) therefore it would be more important to talk about how dice should buff this gun

yeah, some people just play better with certain guns, in BF3 my buddy went a week without using any primary weapon but his pp19and his k/d was +3.5, idk how he did it. my best weapon in bf3 was the M60, my KD was +6 when i used it, got 10,000 kills with that bad boy :D

futurejarhead0311 Agreed. Back in Bad Company 2, one of my favourite assault rifles was the F2000. My friend's favourite was the M416. Statistically, The M416 was a better weapon as an assault rifle although whenever i got in one-on-one battles with my friend, id always win, despite the distances. So yeah, its how you feel using the weapon that matters.

Batman Origins Joker loadout (really simple) - G36C no attachments or add heavy barrel for accuracy - .44 magnum no attachments - C4 cause nothing is more enjoyable than an explosion - Claymores - Grenade of your choice - Just offensive field upgrade or whatever you prefer - your knife (I use the shank) to choose he never just kept one on him objective, use your G36C only hip fire to suppress the enemy (he never really like to aim) using your .44 magnums as the main weapon to blast your enemies and using his prized weapon a knife to terrify your opponents. good luck, hope this is an enjoyable load out challenge

Try it with IRNV 1x, Folding Grip, Suppressor and Green Laser Sight on burst fire mode in Hardcore. Owns so ridiculously I bet it isnt even funny on the wrong end of the gun XD

Yeah I love the AUG with these attachments. Like lvlcap said the heavy barrel isnt as effective since it doesn't do extra damage at range. The huge cost you incur with the recoil makes better accuracy at longer ranges useless. You get more on target with more stability.

I just unlocked this weapon and spent thirty minutes or so trying it out on the practicing range and it blew me away how good it felt engaging the targets. It sounds fucking sweet too i can't get enough of how it sounds. The standard iron sights are GREAT as well which also surprised me because i felt like i was able to be as accurate with the iron sites as i am with reflex sights on other rifles.

Wow, well that's a fucking let down. I was fucking stoked about this rifle until i realized it only fires 700 rounds per minute (same as the AK 5C). Although, i do see it being viable as a long range option in certain situations on Large Conquest with a Compensator barrel attachment to reduce side to side recoil which will make up for the fact it's left recoil has 71% more kick to the left than the M416 so by using the Compensator it should make up for that and it' should fair well b/c its lower fire rate will allow you to be more accurate at range than you could be with a M416 because it has 12% further range and 12% faster muzzle velocity than the M416 as well as 19% less upwards recoil which in combination with slightly less fire rate should have you staying on target fairly easily. Of course, i'm just speculating as i haven't unlocked any attachments for it yet.

aug a3 is the best gun for use a suppressor. 1-Highest muzzle velocity in game (even better than sniper rifles) 2-Low upwards recoil (so, you dont need a muzzle brake) 3-Low accuracy (so, you dont want to use a muzzle brake)

I disagree w/ LC. It's a great weapon. It's main advantage is how fast you can strafe while ADS. It's meant as a very mobile AR. You can make a ton of people miss as you strafe while shooting, and the great hipfire gives it a lot of versatility. It's ROF is nothing to sneeze at either. No, it's not going to be super accurate like the SAR, and no, it won't have the ROF of the AEK or Famas, but if your playstyle involves you moving a lot and peeking out of cover, this is a great gun.

I don't know why but the Shoots of the AUG Feel so heavy , I Love it!:D

I recommend the coyote instead of the holo since it has a clearer view, and the stubby/potato grip for increased accuracy. Hope this helps.

IMO, the recoil is controllable enough so I use a heavy barrel and stubby grip, to improve the accuracy as much as I can. I also use a laser sight to boost the already good hipfire accuracy as it's a bullpup rifle. Personally, I use the Kobra sight as it functions nicely and is aesthetically pleasing on all bullpup rifles.

I also have the gun maxed out. I highly recommend the Aug with a flash hider and either FLIR and canted iron sights, or IR and any laser sight. Also, if you are in a medium/short range area, use the stubby/potato grip. For long range, use an angled grip&semi auto. #AugFTW

BF4 has so many things I don't like. Judging from the videos I've seen it's more like CoD4 (a good cod, but cod nonetheless). Like why should the sniper bullets leave a smoke trail? I'm sticking with BF3 at least until christmas

they added the smoke trailso you can more easily trace the bullet comming to you (or your friend who died in front of you). I think its for balance purpose, i prefer th way bf3 snipes work, but bf4 is still are really big improvement over bf3 on many points, but you can wait until cristmas and have the game+ premium cheaper :)

Xavier .Garand I just think they nerfed so many things from BF3 and the maps are to much of this "levolution" thing. I know for a fact that I'm getting BF4 because my little brother is going to get one for Christmas and because he wants someone to play with my mom bought it for me too. Getting Christmas presents as an adult rocks btw.

Stealth recon loadout: Acw-r suppressed with your preferred grip and close quarters scope, I tend to go with the angled grip and cobra. Play as a recon with the spec ops field upgrade and use a tugs and motions sensors. I use this loadout on close quarters maps, place the tugs somewhere central and use the motions sensors when you are out of range. Be a ghost, flank your enemies and take them out before they even know your their. I have had great games with this loadout and would like to see what you think of it.

Stability freak: SAR-21 with angled foregrip, any 4x scope with canted iron sights, compensator Any pistol (my preffered pistol is the cz-75) And try out the minis for your frags Greetings from Canada

This gun is inaccurate? I feel more accurate with the Aug a3 then I do with the m416 and I have no idea why. I won more close quarters fight with the aug then the m416 too

+Javier Morales Lasers really do you more harm than good though, because they give your position away by making you visible in dark areas. Not to mention that the AUG has good enough hip-fire to do without the laser anyway.

+Everyday Atrocity lol you sir are the real noob, 30 kills a game at lvl 140? I expect that at lvl 70. For me as a lvl 140, 50 kills each game is what someone at lvl 140 should score. Let alone this is on PS3 without max ticket servers or high ticket rush servers..

i think what sets the aug apart is that rather than other weapons with a high rate of fire it has good hipfire and accuracy while moving making it good/decent at close(-ish) ranges. this makes it good for those engagements while still being able to down people at medium to long range more effective with it's above average 670m/s muzzlevelocity and manageble recoil than say an aek or famas which have high recoil. pretty similar to the bf3's AUG in the way that it fills the gap between the AR's.

So thats the scope we get for the m1911 on the 5th of december . yeeeeeeeeeaaah thanks Dice.

Is the ACE 23 really the best ACE? I keep hearing it's OP but what about the other ACE's? They seem pretty similar and I actually feel like if anything, the other two ACE's better. Maybe that's just because I haven't done much side by side comparison but I don't see much difference, and I also don't feel like the ACE23 is that great. Not on the level of "overpowered" at least.

I definitely think it's the best ACE, but I don't agree with all the people who cry about it being "OP." I think a lot of people are just saying that because it's sort of similar to the M16A3 from BF3, which also got the OP label (tho I didn't agree with that either). But really, the ACE23 fires 30 less RPM than the M16A3, & to me feels much less stable under automatic fire, whatever the stats say.

ACE-52 CQB is fantastic, and is basically a SCAR-H with more damage, more ammo, slightly slower reload time, more stability, faster fire rate, etc. Plus it is a carbine, so you can have it on any class.

TheAlpacaAlliance The ACE 52 doesn't do more damage than the SCAR-H. Actually, the SCAR has a better damage model, & gets progressively better as the range increases. Not that I don't like the ACE 52. It is a good gun. I just unlocked it the other day, but unlocked the ACE 23 the same day, & am enjoying the 23 more.

It's amazing at close to medium ranges. I can literally beat anyone if we're close quarters. It's a bit OP. The carbine is a closer ranged weapon, so I prefer the assault rifle.

"Elite" Sniper Scout Elite Rifle Scope 8x Canted Iron Sights M9 Ghost Ring Compensator Radio Beacon Motion Sensor Scout Elite may be one of the worst sniper rifles? It uses a 5.56 round and only has a 5 round mag. But it's not capable of a two shot kill to the chest at regular sniping distances. I landed two chest shots on one guy and got an assist of only 36, I did only 36 damage?!? Is it really worth using over the other sniper rifles? it just seems to be bad no matter what. Always has to be a headshot but that's hard when the guy is the size of the crosshair in the scope.

SirSteyr My mistake, thats a bit odd that DICE would uses the 556 zeroing version instead of a combat loaded 762. If they want a long range weapon in 556 they should just use a MK12.

Changeable barrels or not guys we got the 5.56 version of the gun in BF4. Go look at it if you have the game. Several other places to look to.

Next review - LSAT. Suppressor, red dot sight of your preference, and stubby grip. Go go!

It's a Veteran item. You had to have played BF3 or BC2 and still have the save data connected to your Battlelog.

Odd. I had the same problem with Vet items, and one day they just happened to appear :/. Maybe it's a bad glitch, because I've noticed several times i get my vet items whenever I start a game, and its completely random.
