I have taken this route several times. I once turned right at 27:34 to take the road back to Gunnison. Turns to dirt but it is an awesome drive. I didn't realize the coal mines at Paonia were as big as they were until I had been through there a couple times. You have inspired me to make the trip to Montrose and come home that way. Maybe the Vapor Caves are open. Nice walk down to river. Too bad you didn't to cast a line in.

Cripes that road up by Paionia [?] state park is like our roads here in NZ. We had a visitor from WA state "it's the only place I've driven where I see my own tail lights ahead of me." Of course referring to the windiness of the roads. Lots of mountain roads here. I love riding along. I suspect your knee problem is arthritis?? I had it and was surprised to find it was arth....A half knee job years later took care of it easily. Safe travels!

Got to just sit there high in the mountains for 20 minutes or so.
Beautiful, stunning views. Hope knee settles down. Horsey has plenty of grunt and glad she errs on side of caution to keep you safe.
Love watching your videos. And, thank you for the gorgeous views. My eyes are starved for color as I’m stuck in the dry, arid desert of Arizona. I can no longer travel, so I enjoy riding shotgun with you.
yes beautiful pass wow, a lot of turns but worth it for the view!
Thanks for another ride, beautiful country that we live in,never been to Utah so enjoyed the trip. Until the next ride stay safe.
thanks mike for the beautiful road trip an walk to the river, quality run! thank you!

Hey Mike, just another scenic tour of our beautiful state. Sometime you should take us down 141 from Grand Jct to Cortez through the Unaweep Canyon. Another fun run. Thanks for taking us with you. be safe.
Safe travels!
some beautiful country you travel through
Beautiful Route.

Olathe Colorado is flat but the mountains always make me long for the fresh air and clean water it's famous for. Great driving with you as always 😆
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC are constructed of marble quarried of the marble from the Colorado Yule Marble quarry in the Crystal River valley near Marble, between Carbondale and Crested Butte.
Fantastic drive! I've made that trip a few times. Love it!!
Ya need to go down old Wolf Creek Pass... With the song playing! Dont forget to bash into the side of the feed store... in downtown Pagosa Springs!
From someone with two artificial knees --- ice your knee and then put on Aspercream lotion with lidocaine. Enjoyed the ride-along today.

I'd recommend you research Progressive Muscle Relaxation. It's the gradual tensing and relaxation of all of your muscle groups. I've got all sorts of back pain from both my right and left shoulders and my lower back. It has helped tremendously with my pain and even more with my stress.

You wouldn't be driving a semi if you had to artificial knees! I don't have to put anything on my 2 metal knees!
Beautiful place❤️
I had to take a screenshot of the upstream view of the mountains when you 1st got down to the river... that was too gorgeous not to save! I would kill to see that scenery everyday!
People should do three activities during Corona Virus Lockdown 1. Live in forests , jungles 2. Go on adventure 3. Long drives OR watch Long drive videos(that will give you relaxation & opens your mind )
The gimpy fishing expedition was the best part, you know, for a driving video.
