For anyone else confused at home, Brimaz was supposed to trigger off Angel of Ruins as it counts artifact creatures as well as phyrexians, so it was supposed to make an incubate token with 7 counters after all. Edit: By anyone else confused I meant me, I was very confused 😅

Eilidh is really stepping up with the rules and card interactions. Love it!

I'm so proud of myself- started to make a "shouldn't that gremlin get 2 counters" comment, then thought. "Graham's a smart guy; he'll prolly notice on the next token or two." Patience and faith in Graham were vindicated!

If I understand things correctly, I think you would need to decide which attack trigger to resolve first (Krenko or Bright-Palm) which means I think you would need to decide whether to double counters first (getting more goblins) or getting goblins first, which would result in a larger Krenko at end of turn. But yeah...that kind of thing is very easy to miss when a lot of things are happening, especially if they had time constraints. And I don't think it really changed anything. Thank you for the fun video!

48:25 they also gain the trample from back up, back up gives all the "following abilities" including things like fly, trample, haste...

I literally bought Bright Palm the other day and watching this is mind blowing!! So glad I bought the deck cause just look how insane it is with the counters, the wood elf had like 17+ +1/1 counters.. Thats insane! I am so glad Kathleen took the victory and now I shall as well ! (Edit: Till someone on my table summons something like Day of Judgment or even Damnation... it would be so sad..)

An unimportant rules nitpick - Krenko getting a counter and making goblins is the same trigger, so you can't add counters, then double, then make goblins, it needs to be double then add then make goblins. This would have meant 2 fewer goblins, which would not have mattered in the slightest to the game.

This is my favorite episode. LRR is the best Mtg creators

When she used Bright Palm to double Krinko that was a miss play. Bright palm only puts a counter on something when Bright palm comes into the battlefield and that creature can only double it's counters if it's the creature bright palm backed up while entering play. Still a fun game to watch! Just something I noticed.

All those precons look fun to play

I too have the Knight deck but use and built around Elena and Azor. That being said the original commander looks crazy plus love the multiple ways to build it

two of my friends at school were horse girls. they both lived on pretty humble properties in rural South australia. one enjoyed equestrian events and one went on cross country adventures, not sure what that’s called. Very lovely ordinary people.

Though, to fair, Olivia likes to be the Chaos Goblin from time to time. 😅

This is 100% why I'm building a Bright-Palm deck around making token copies of the Backup creatures. You can get so many counters on things, it's ridiculous.

I just opened Bright-Palm and really wanna do a deck around her. Seems so fun to play around. Oh didn't know she was a pre-con I just got in a booster is all.

Just started watching and I'm hoping for a clean take of "Boompile" in Olivia's new voice but maybe only Wheeler gets those.

Great showcase of the new decks :) But at ~52:00 The backup ability from bright palm only will get on another creature only on ETB :-/ So it was sadly a missplay when kathleen puts bright palm‘s backup ability on krenko

It's an attack trigger though. So when Bright Palm attacks, double counters on target creature. I'm pretty sure we did it right.

OMG "Built like a Pixar Mom" almost made me spit Diet Coke on my monitor.

There are MANY new eratta cards. Lots from Scars of Mirrodin, New Phyrexia, Mirrodin Besieged and a few other sets have lots of eratta. Like my fav dragon Skittles (Skitheryx)! Now a proper Phyrexian skeleton dragon.

It would've been pretty cool to see everyone using the plane cards with the EDH precons that have cards designed for Planechase
