They are really nice rods. I’ve got the casting version 2-10g paired with an Aldebaran bfs reel and I’m super satisfied!

Yeah just after buying a heavy and medium sized rod and reel set ups like 2 weeks ago, but will have a look at the light rods.

They look very fast action rods. Perfect for soft plastics and setting the hook. Like a medium fast for crank baits etc.

About to pick up the 4-14g one later on this week (or the next) Good to know the rod has some extra grunt as the venues i'll be fishing for perch do have pike upto 20lb although their population seems rather small. (two sessions, both blanks - Have heard endless stories about carpers catching them on luncheon meat and one on a boilie which i find rather had to believe but it is what it is) Been told there is a good head of perch and i actually got a hit off one while using a small 10g mouse lure for a laugh (pretty much had given up at this stage so I pull all the stupid lures out to have some fun with...) when the pike weren't biting but i didnt get a good hookset as it just hit the mouse out of the blue and i didnt expect to catch nothing! But trying to throw a 10g mouse lure with a baitcaster (40lb braid) and 15-45g medium rod setup is a bit of a pain particularly as my rod very stiff despite being a medium action. The same setup will cast 13g lures without any issue though, although it will take slight more effort to cast. Sean from MyFishingLures was also very helpful both via email and on the phone so long as you can understand his thick Scottish accent 😅I had a few questions regarding the braid some of his combo's came pre-spooled with and he pretty much put my mind at rest. super knowledgeable guy.
