Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzread.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

Try a small popper m8 or a small soft tiger perch single hook

Savage Gear 4 play lures for me.....proved great year after year on a big head standard, but best rigged weedless on their side. Always fish a fine trace as pike think they're the nuts too....though a slow retreive puts them off a bit. I mostly use the 9.5cm version for the 3lb+ perch as seems the winning size. Love the vids, guys...

I like that Dex bait very like the classic Rapala from the sixties I use and they certainly do work 🐟

I always carry along Timber Tiger crankbaits, Illex Chubby 3,5cm and Salmo Hornets in sizes 4-7cm for perch and Rapala shallow and deeprunners in 5-7cm. I am looking forward to trying these twitcvhbaits though. They catch a lot of big perch for friends of mine, fishing over deeper water

I caught a perch on a 20cm shad once. Only weighed in as 2lbs

3x3 9 hooks for perch great for catch and release

All the perch had a big meeting over the winter and decided not to chase spikey shads anymore, the year before they decided not to chase the plane shad, its getting annoying that every year I have to change my lures because the perch have this annual meeting where they decided what they're gonna chase the coming summer, thank god there are lot of companies out there doing all the hard work for us and giving us the option to buy the lures the perch are going to chase this year (sarcasm.....I buy a pint of pinkies, catch some 3 to 4 inch roach, live bait them, super cheap, super effective if there are big perch in the area, once you found big perch, use a 2-3 inch shad, natural colours, white/black, anything that resembles a small fish realistically to some degree, the hardest part about big perch is finding them)
