Unfortunately at this point in 1968 reggae was getting faster and, to me, lost its appeal. I would have preferred to return to the days of 'Bump Ball' and similar offerings. I often wondered how the label got its name. It was not until 1972 that things began to slow down again.

Love the tempo , some reggae sounds better at a higher tempo, ska etc.

I like it all depends what mood I'm in. Tho at a Dance i wanna hear all styles 6 hours of boss reggae would be too much

Haven't a clue where they got the name from, we'd probably be surprised. I watched an interview with Roy Cousins recently his labels Uhuru and Wambesi were taken from The Phantom comic strip he used to read.

Rocksteady is good to relax to, ska and reggae good to listen to if you're doing stuff.
