LLinusLLove Caught Cheating??? | A GTO Investigation

Ойындар

On 9/9/19, high stakes reg Fiilismies accused LLinusLLove of cheating through the use of solver assistance in online play. As part of his evidence, he presented three hands which we review in this video to investigate the veracity of his claim.
Note: Fiilismies later retracted his accusation after discussing further with Linus.

So why are you so sure linus isn't, being the best in the world by far. There's obviously no absolute proof but why on earth would you make a comment like this? As though cheating doesn't exist.

Doesn't mean he isn't using a bot.. He just has a very good understanding of gto so nobody can prove anything. Also gto should only be used against skilled opponents and not against weak - average regs. So that means if Llinus finds a weakness in some of his opponents he will obviously deviate from GTO and go for an exploitative approach. He's not propperly a cheater but like two banned expresso top regs on the french network Winamax, he worked so hard on pio to understand GTO solution resolving that he can actualy quite easily approching a perfect poker. There's another postulate came from the 2010 high stakes scene wich talks about someone who developed a tracker with HUD features to show some GTO balanced sizings and frequencies plays better than screening some players statistics tendencies like commonly used trackers as Pokertracker and Holdem manager for exemple. Some players where suspicious about RAGEN who was unbeatable and he use to play some absolutly insane and unstandards strategic lines like if he knew your cards. They already started to think about players who where using a strong technologic cheating system at these old times on online poker tables.

3 of the 2 hands were super sensitive to pre flop ranges and two were just set up incorrectly. Even if you have a solver solution while playing, it implies that your opponent will play GTO. If doesn't, applying solver equilibrium solution could lead to -EV decisions. And this problem gets exacerbated when you go from flop to river. The river solution is heavily dependent on the ranges that both players have carried to river.

@Moan Of course only top 10% are winning, but that is not because of patience, but because of rake. Especially in lower stakes, if you are not much better than others, you are losing money

@Moan There is nothing that says that the top 10% of players need to be human. I can see a future where better bots lives off cannibalizing worse bots. When that happens it's obviously game over for the game. I see it as inevitable on the higher stakes unless you come up with a technical solution.

Yeah definitely.... There's always sore losers who follow people who beat them around and run the clock pretty much every hand. I got a lot of those too, but they're stupid because they don't know that I thrive off of that. It ends up making me even more money, but it just takes a bit longer than it should. 😂😂🙌🙌

Being able to change ID or go full anonymous is hilarious. In live poker can players wear masks? Hell no. Poker is a game if information and knowing who are you playing against is a must.

How is it cheating when you use pio. It makes 0 sense. If you can afford to buy another laptop with pio running and simultaneously plug in the flop turn and river cards your hand and position vs villain, then you are not cheating per se. Because anyone who can afford having another laptop can do this. So It makes no sense because this is what everyone and anyone can do anyways if they have the money to do so and become fast at plugging in the inputs on pio.

It seems like a stretch to call Linus a cheater based on these hands. It looks to me that he's simply an excellent player that utilizes GTO and exploitative very well together.

Like 4 days ago, i saw linnus gifting a 200bbs pot tu godofhu in nl10k. Yes, a gift. AK 4b call pf, and then check raise a 33% cbet and call the jam on QXX. Very GTO this play. After he get out of the table and didnt play de 25k hrs the next day. Like a human, i tilted one.

Your comparison is insane. If I recall correctly there are ~20'000 unique flops possible. This leads to billions of billions of different game trees. It's not possible to remember the correct action on any board.
