In watching you, I was thinking how good it must have felt walking around wearing those lovely dresses in front of everybody. And then I thought about the washing of them afterwards when you got home.

a lot of my stuff can't be wahsed hence why good weather is needed, the petticoat on cinderella is synthetic so it could be washed easily, the outer silk fabric cannot be washed. The pin kchristine daae dress is polyester synthetic, so it was easy tot wash, plus on that dress I made a detchable dust cover for underneath the train, I mad eit 3 weeks ago and it was covered in dirt and oil, but it could be taken off and washed, the main dress was almost perfect just a few marks unerneath the hem that washed off. A lot of gowns back in time could not be washed easily as they were jsut to delicate, but imagine the smell of them. :)

Oh my, Tracy, how does the silk gauze hold up as you're walking around the street? The tiniest twig could cause some damage 😯

I know hence why I was holding it up a lot a times, we do test these gowns before eachg each event you know, to make sure it hasn't stetched to much from previous wear and that it's off the floor and weather is good for it. I don't spend months making these to not wear them. I had the dust frill underneath ont he hoop that is slightly flower by 1cm, but doesn't drag ont he floor, it's there to take any dirt, plus the rest is polyester and can be washed easily, but the silk gauze is cut just a few milimeters higher than the pettcioats. I was very carefuyl walking around the roads and llandudno is very clean. They put a lot of effot into to make sure it is tidy, the fgauze was fine but the frills edges got some dirt just on the edges at the back. thank you but you no need ot worry, I don't want our hard work runined so I would hold the dress up as you see me walking at strat of video next dya as cinderella. Tracy :)
