Talk Talk Spirit of Eden? Man, I was scared of Liz Phair when I was 20 in the 90s and didn't know anything but this answer alone brings peace to both of us.
So excited to listen to Liz' new album!
Speaking of Brad Wood, and if you're a Liz Phair kind of person, I HIGHLY recommend Veruca Salt's 2015 album "Ghost Notes." It's a superb record, almost a concept album tracking the break up and repair of a fierce friendship. One of the rare sets that pases the Bechdel-Wallace Test!

Well it's been about a year since she released Soberish and I bought two copies on vinyl. Two different colored translucent vinyls ... I played it a lot the first month when I got it and something happens when you're 53 years old ... It's gets harder to remember if something has been released ... It was different in 1993 when I was 30 years younger ...

I remember when MTV 120 Minutes reported that Liz Phair cancelled shows do to stage fright. That was sad😞

Every single album that she did was worse than the one before it. And this is coming from a fan.
I do enjoy Liz but the whole feminism thing total turn off

Her vocals are a lot better now . And she’s a songwriter . No one ever cared about Dylan’s voice and it ain’t great
