That hit me too, because you look well, people assume you are well. Not that you want sympathy, you just want a little understanding. As we aren’t reliable, it’s hard to plan outings and appointment of any kind. I don’t make morning appointments, as the pain effects my sleep. You just have to take it one day at a time, and do what you can.

It’s expensive to have this condition - that’s a powerful and vert true statement! I feel trapped in a body that doesn’t work and it’s a daily mental struggle that takes a lot of effort just to keep going and not give up. Gentle hugs to everyone dealing with this condition x

To all the women and few men suffering from fibromyalgia please don’t give up and remain hopeful that you can find ways to understand triggers and flare-up’s to better help manage your symptoms.I have been living with it for about three/four years now. I have lost my career as a nurse due to this debilitating condition. Fortunately I’am blessed to still have both my mom and dad to help me when I cannot get out of bed for week’s on. I was diagnosed with Fibro for over 25 years. I had the test in the Doctors office with the pressure points etc. Since I went Carnivore and got rid of all the carbs, sugar, frankenfoods, it is gone. No more pain, nor more fatigue, no more brain fog, memory etc. No more Gerd. No more high BP or BS. I sleep so good now I am even off my cpap. And if I had any doubts, all I have to do is fall off my Strict ketovore diet (mushrooms, avocado, garlic and onions are ok) and eat potatoes or veggies or chips and I am hurting all over again. So this is not just a one time thing. The last 8 months I have cured my fibromyalgia with a carnivore diet. Thank you Dr. Ken Berry. Thank you PHD community. Thank you Dr. Chaffee. Thank you Dr. Baker.

I am 31 and I just have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. With males it's less as common. I have lots of the same issues. How easy my body gets sore, I get very fatigued. Just doing normal activities. I get what I call ,tired headaches. And some days just feel like I am in a fog, and can't think the best. Not everyday is like this, but when I do feel good. It's easy to overdo things to make up for lost time.

Basically you go through all kinds of blood test. And when the doctors can't figure it out ,and you have the same symptoms. For a while. Finally they will agree. If you have fibromyalgia. There is no definitive test for fibromyalgia. It's a long drawn out process. I hope you don't have it, and you get better. Being healthy is a true blessing!

One solution I’ve found effective for fibromyalgia and a ton of other conditions is Bemer vascular therapy. I’ve been distributing medical devices for 15 years and this is the first I’ve seen that helps at the root level, the blood flow and toxin elimination. Eating right can help eliminate toxic buildup, however. If you don’t want to stop eating the foods you love, increasing blood flow and lymphatic draining by 30% will do the same. PEMF technology is incredible, it’s Star Trek healing L😆L Albert Einstein said "Future Medicine will be the Medicine of Frequencies" This quote is ringing through loudly now with Radiation therapy, X-ray machines, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) PET and CT scans, and ultrasound have all become commonplace and all fundamentally harness the power of different types of waves and their specific frequencies that occur in nature. Bemer has been studied extensively and found to increase the ATP of the cells by 20%, creating energy at the source of the cells mitochondria itself, no need for coffee, drugs, or anything else. No need to suffer any longer, if anyone wants help getting a hold of a bemer to try, I’m happy to help. 513-828-2277

I made lifestyle adjustments that really helps me so that I don’t flare up so regularly. I started doing yoga daily (on off days really slow and a restorative practice), adopted a Mediterranean diet, started taking proper care of my mental health and go to physio when I need to. As I understand it, it’s different for everyone and you have to find what works for you. For me accepting each day as it comes is key and making sure your family and friends understand some days you will need a lot of support. ❤ Self care, self love and acceptance on the day you can barely make it up the stairs. Enjoying the day you can move with ease. Listening to your body and resting when you need to. This is what works for me and I call it my “medicine”. ❤

I can’t believe how young you all are, I’m so sorry. I was recently diagnosed at 76 I’ve had it for over 10 years, as we all know it’s very hard to diagnose. My pain was always put down to old back and knee injury that I’d received many years ago, along with sciatica. It’s a horrid illness, and the pain is with you every day. When I think of young people, and kids with this, it makes me very sad. 😔 Take care every one, be kind to your self.💕

Fibromyalgia is debilitating everyday can be different with your whole body. I have had fibromyalgia basically all my life. The pain started in my early teens and l am 65 now l was diagnosed with it in my 30s, l am so warn out with the pain and fatigue from it. I also have a lot of other debilitating illnesses as well life has always been such a challenge but l am an extremely resilient person and do try fighting it but does wear me down but l always try to do as much as l can in my day. You will never win or beat it. You just have to live with it. And faking being ok is part of it when you really are in so much pain. Fibromyalgia affects everything in your whole body it can be in different areas or the whole of your body it’s exhausting. I have Botox injections for my bladder. And have just found out that my asophagus when it cramps up is the fibromyalgia doing it the pain and cramping from this stays for half a day or more and the it is so sore from the cramping for days after because cramps hang on for so long and try to swallow hurts just tiny swallows and also burns in your throat and the chest pain and cramps these attacks when they happen l am so fatigued after them. These attacks can happen at anytime eating food or not drinking a drink or not it’s fibromyalgia that does this. It’s not my heart even though l do have a defibrillator in because l have an enlarged left atrium it’s not my heart that does this l have been checked for everything you can imagine. On top of all that l have both arthritises a large hiatus hernia looped over it’s self, l also suffer from diverticulitis, fluid retention, Gastric Asophagus reflux, thrombosis, depression, hyperthyroidism, iron deficiency l loose iron, l have lots of blood tests regularly to check everything am on lots of medications have lots of allergies. I really am so over my body. My kidneys also get checked regularly because medication can effect them, I am under specialist all that’s wrong with me. Medical cannabis works but it’s far too expensive.

The best thing that you can do when you get out of bed in the morning is lay in a very hot tub as hot as you can stand it with a bubble spa mat made by HoMedics and also a Conair massager that would sit on the side of the tub that will blow out water towards the front of your body and is electric and adjustable. Lay in the tub for 25 minutes. I have had fibromyalgia since around 1991. I have been on medication also, this tub bath is the best thing that I have used for years. Please pass this on to everyone. I am 63 years old now and would not be able to go anywhere without this bath. Also make sure you have a vinyl blow up pillow to use for comfort in the bath.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 24. Working as a construction worker since 19yrs old I feel I had banged up my body. Had injuries i probably should’ve taken care of after it happened instead of working through the pain. But even before the diagnosis in my medical records it was just myalgia. And I was brushed off for years until I properly diagnosed. When I became 27 I came out pregnant and more and more I was experiencing flare up and just feeling horrible throughout the pregnancy. I’ve never had a day since without feeling flared up. I’m 42 now. I understood when she said no matter how ambitious or productive you are the body wants to do its own thing. I feel my fibrofog has gotten in the middle of my confidence in the workforce . Especially feeling irresponsible to keep a stable job. It can mess with my mind . Therefore causing anxiety and depression. I wish every single day that I’d wake up a brand new person. But I do also have nerves damage on my head and face called TN so if it’s not one thing it’s another. A headache is normal for me daily. But as long as it doesn’t get excruciating in pain I just deal with it. I’d love to find myself again …

I am 60 years old, I was diagnosed when I was 25 years old. It has been a rough road, I changed my diet & exersized regularly & was doing pretty good. I was a spitfire when I was younger & I try to help others if I can physically do it. I made the mistake of trying to help a person that was in a hoarding situation. I tried to go in & help but it was so bad it was unbelievable. Rat fecies everywhere & the garbage was all over, I went into the environment 3 times & after that my health went down hill so bad it is just scarry. All the pain & aches everywhere came back. My doctor put me on methaline blue to try to help my body get rid of the toxins but I am still suffering. Hopefully I can get back to where I was. It really scared me I did not realize ypur environment can effect you so much. Be careful all my fellow sufferers because your environment really effect you.

Let's get one thing straight: you love your fibromyalgia, most of it anyway. You use it admirably to feel sorry for yourself and to get attention for yourself. And on the few occasions you haven't loved it, it's only because it's gone too far, further than you ever thought when you created it. If you want to overcome your own mind, yoga and meditation.
