Part of the appeal for this car is the fact it doesn't have power steering quite honestly. My current car is an FF layout without power steering, and THAT is a pig when parking. Comparing it to say a MR car without power steering I've driven (MR2), which was far more enjoyable and easier to park.

Sam really love watching your stuff & this is a great honest review without any of the bull crap you sometimes get in magazines etc with this car! It's really nice that you acknowledge the fact that a lot of the problems are down to our rubbish roads is a breath of fresh air! I am a bit of a Alfa fan & drive a humble 159 myself but you kinda seem to have the same crazy passion for cars that I've had since I was a kid so just wanted to say I find your vlogs fun!

This is the best example of a 4C that I've seen. If I had the money, I'd have one looking exactly the same. Love the rims & red + black finish. Great video too

Hey STG! I was studying in London recently (Jan. to April) and used to see your 4C all the time. I'm from America and I don't usually get to see as many supercars as I did in Knightsbridge. Brilliant video! I recently turned 16 and have decided that I will one day get one of these cars... it will be quite the upgrade from my 1999 Hyundai Excel!!!

I have a alfa 159 JTS TI 2.2 (petrol) It's my 1st car - 2008 model and quite a few things you mentioned I have noticed with my car as well, highway driving you have to drive the car, it's not just accelerate and forget. Great car!

thats a really nice first car! Even a petrol variant, and not those shitty diesels :p (im a little late lol) my dad has a 2011 alfa 159 1750tbi, the same engine as in the 4c. Its an awesome car!

As a fellow owner of one of these, this is a fair, honest assessment. If anything, you may have under played how fun it is - but then again I am in Canada with some beautiful, winding country roads nearby. 😎

I think Alfa's going to release a more powerful variant of this car soon, that will be amazing considering the normal one is already fairly quick.

There is a 6c concept, with the 510hp 2.9 Litre V6 from the Giulia Quadrifoglio.

Booked me a test drive for Monday but this really gave me some help in what to expect.

The 4C and the R8. Beauties.

4c is a beautiful unique light weight sport car. Great reviews. Handling should be quite well and fun to drive. I haven't seen one in Orange County, Southern California yet! I could imagine it would be difficult to get parts in US. As Alfa Romeo is rare here. Although it may takes some time starting to get popular like FERRARI, Lamborghini and Maserati. Enjoy your new Alfa!

My dream car my experience with Alfa Romeo is warm the Engine to normal operating temperature before driving this car is built right go ahead and love your Gold Rims it makes it different your the one that's paying for it after all it's your car may you get many years of use out of it

IMO those gold painted wheels suit the car brilliantly! And the black lower "sideskirt" thingies, as that color combo (red - black - gold) reminds me of the classic (racing) Alfa-Romeos from 1960's and -70's.

Wheels aren't bad IMO. It's the color that's the problem. Gold rims look best on a white car.
