Its a supercar Eddie. I will put $ down soon on the Z06 but debating on Stingray until then.

C8 Pro tip: Set My Mode to have the loudest engine/exhaust setting, when you turn off your car in My Mode it will stay in My Mode when you turn it on. So the startup or remote start will be on the loudest engine/exhaust setting. Turning off the C8 in any other mode will automatically set to Tour mode during startup which has the valve closed by default. Source: I have a 23’ C8 myself Happy cold starts! 😃

I own a C8 and two C8 Z06 and I never knew this. I’ve set up My Mode but never really used it, I’ve always used Z mode or Track mode. Definitely gonna do this when I get out of my cars for now on. Thanks for this tip!

Can't you just turn on the accessories and hit sport mode , then punching on the break and start it?

I love it. I want one. I'm an old guy. I owned the best naturally aspirated corvette back in the day. A 1991 ZR-1. It was brought up to around 500 HP by Haibeck Automotive Technology. The thing ripped up to almost 8,000 RPM. Of course it was a C4 with its problems, but man was it a fun car. NA is cool, but it seems all of my cars are boosted now. 2011 CTS-V, 2013 Audi S5, and a 2007 Chevy 2500 Duramax truck. Thanks for the video!

Nice! I just sold my CTS coupe yesterday and boy was tht hard lol. I absolutely love tht bodystyle.....

For 6 months I’ve worked in the service department of a Chevrolet dealership as a car runner and shuttle driver. A few weeks ago I got to move a C8 about 50 feet up near the shop door. I’m 5’ 11” tall and slender. It’s NOT a fun car to get into but it’s certainly different. If only I could be lucky enough to deliver one or pick one up from a customer but I’m not going to bet on it happening.

As an R8 v10 owner, Gallardo, and a C7 Z06 owner, I can't wait to try out the C8 Z06. I would love to take the new Z06 on a Bay to LA cruise.

There’s a video no one has done and I’m surprised it hasn’t been. You own both American Flat Plane V8’s. Do a comparison video on both the 350R and the Z06. I know it’s not an apples to apples comparison but I’d be interested in what you like one over the other. Engine vs Engine. Manual vs automatic. Not necessarily interior vs interior. Obviously the C8 is a much more expensive car and more loaded with goodies compared to a 350R but it would be nice to see a comparison from someone who owns both. Just a thought. And congrats on all your success post Vehicle Virgins. It’s been great to see how far your channel has gone.

This would be the ultimate sports car to own! Maybe one day I’ll actually be able to get one. I do not like the looks of the regular C8 but this wide body looks sick!

Y’all should take that to the top of mount Lemmon if you haven’t. Great windy scenic road in Tucson.

Tortilla flats. I go out there 3X a week and race at night. You wanna feel a run. i can run from that parking lot you started at to the vista in my 981 in low 4 Min marks. Been racing that road for 14, years. You need to go out there after 7:00PM. Stay away from that bacl section lots of rocks and slippery corners with debris. The front section is the best section for cleanliness.

has it been reliable? Do plan on keeping beyond warranty expiration? If so, will you be getting an extended warranty? I am on a waiting list at MacMulkin for this car and my number is coming up and I want it to be a long term car but I think this would be a very costly car to own outside of warranty given issues we have seen with engines and transmission...which are super expensive and would cost an insane amount of money to replace with no warranty... Thoughts? I just don't trust the engine or transmission to be reliable as the miles stack up.

That clicking of the paddles annoys me, otherwise the Z06 is awesome. I am WAAAAAAY down the list at MM for one, who knows if I will ever see it. Luckily I have a 718 GT4 with MCS 2-way dampers until when/if my name comes up.

By the way i just recieved my 70th from Rick Conti. Look at his video from today. I have many cool vehicles included Fat truck. I also just purchased the Bronco raptor. Fun for sure. I live in phoenix.

Lol I love the 6.2 LT in my 2016 Stingray, but anyone who doesn’t think this C8 Z06 engine is so much better, is lying. This Z06 is next level. Enjoy. Ugly watch and all.

Next level in what way? The 0-60 is basically the same on both cars. The Stingray actually has more lower end torque. Z06 only shines at speeds above 80mph. How often do you get to open it up when putting around town? It’s certainly not worth the $100k difference in price that it’ll cost the average person.

Why not drive in regular daily driver mode to see how it sounds in low rpm?

What route was this? Superstition Mountain?

Young millennial friend has already lost passion for cars lol. I am 62, have manual 2014 Mustang GT, manual 2016 C7 stingray, manual 2022 Tacoma TRD sport 4x4, older Jeep Grand Cherokee in green and wifey drives a Ridgeline. How can you lose passion for driving if you are so young?

Gen Z's are even worse. Most don't even get their license when they turn 16 anymore. That was the first thing I did.

Chevrolet took apart the 458 when designing this, so honestly they got a lot of help from Ferrari. Can argue the Z06 isn't a Chevy, but is the 458's NA successor.

Waiting for chevy to add battery powered front drive motor to this car.

Your 3 month review is extremely biased . Why don’t you talk about the fact that a lot of C8 ZO6 have blown their motors . The fact that the steering wheel feel is extremely numb . Yes the sound is nice , but I live in Miami and I have a C8 full of carbon fiber with an aftermarket exhaust from AWE . The other day a ZO6 was coming in the opposite direction of my car I had the top down and I thought it was another C8 so unless it looks like yours with the ZO7 package it looks like another C8 the sound is not any louder or better then a 3000 thousand dollar aftermarket exhaust would give you .

Lol, your calling him out for being biased when your being biased af, yes the c8z's are having some problems, your not wrong there, but trying to justify ANY exhaust, on your base compare to the z is crazy, the Z sounds better with a muffler delete than anything you could put on a c8 base

I totally agree with you and I would like to get one myself . The one thing is no car is perfect . Why not talk about how much it cost to track the car . He did say he took it to the track and replaced the OEM tires the car came with . He does this in all his videos like the when he replaced his OEM wheels with an aftermarket company that cost normally 12 thousand to buy he got for free . He basically sold himself to doing a paid comercial for them to get uglier wheels than his car came with for free .

Great car, horrible wheels you put on it.

Put the black wheels back on. The silver looks generic af. Also makes the car look even more like a monster truck. The black wheels at least blend in with the wheel wells so it gives the illusion that it’s lowered. Cmon man
