The story of how he got into art at such a young age is really interesting. Also I haven’t heard much at all about the life of a career artist. It certainly has his challenges with the constraints on when you can work due to the dependence on daylight. His work is very beautiful!

There was a story where this influencer wanted to eat free at a restaurant, and the owner said no. So, she got her followers to harass the owner and leave bad reviews. Edit: By the way, I said, "This influencer." I don't mean the lady in the video. I mean someone else. I was trying to say that it could be true because I heard stories of others who did.

I have a very old home here. We're in the process of gut renovating it and even with all the investment we put in, at the end it will still be worth more than what we bought it for with the equity. It's a solid investment. We have a beautiful view of the park across the street too with that amazing arch. Takes us 20 min to get to NYC whenever we want, but I agree traffic out of the area to get elsewhere in NJ is what takes a long time too. Probably 20-30 min just to get out of the north bergen area from where we are.

My guess was that he was a child actor in LA. So, he probably had a lump sum accumulation coming to him at the age of majority. Child actors who are not stars don't make the mega-bucks but, if they are not swindled by their minders, they stand to get easily a few 100K over what can be 10-12 years of work. Beyond that, he disclosed that his parents own real estate holdings. In LA, the real estate market is crazy. I am in LA and my triplex that I bought just 5 years ago for about 800K is doubled in value.

Assuming they own their condo outright if housing and utilities only add up to $686 and includes HOA and property taxes. Only $12 for home insurance each month isn't making sense to me. That's usually around what renter's insurance costs just to insure your personal possessions. Also, spending all your savings on renovating your home is the surest way to nuke your future financial freedom.

  • @edb484

Yea if they DIY some of the renovations they would of saved more than 50%. At least demo and take everything out yourself like tile, appliance, flooring etc. Most things can be done yourself off KZread. Home Depot has a KZread channel where they show you how so many things and just pays for some plumbing or small electrical work.

they take 50% worldwide, its common practise. They take 50% but they will build your name as a high profile artist. So you have two choices. Either sell your own artwork, be unknown and sell your stuff for lets say couple K$ and keep 100% but the price might remain the same for years. or have gallery represent you, build your image, raise your paintings value to $10k-$20k per piece out of which you keep 50%. Get it?

Wow, must be nice being well off in money and getting free clothes, eating out for free, and even free furniture. Sad how theres a lot of brands and companies willing to give away things for free to people who aren't in need and those that are in most need have less incentive to help them because its not out of goodwill but rather just give to the rich "influencer" so that there is a chance that other people will want to buy it. Also the highest earner is the money saver and the lowest earner is the spender?!? How ironic.

It's a business arrangement. The brand gets exposure and she gets compensation. Being an influencer that is able to make a liveable wage is work. It may not be the traditional 9-5 but someone is taking time to put together content that a subset of the population wants to see. Companies are not obligated to give back just because they have money. Would it be nice, sure, but they do not have to do it. People who get up everyday and work for a living no matter if it is a high paid job or a low pay job have earned that money and can do with it what they well.

Now, North Bergen is nothing like it used to be, pathetically worse from my, a conservative, Christian Family mans point of view. Now it's incredibly congested and too horribly diverse.
