This reminds me of the simple life I lived in my village till my twenties. It was beautiful, stress-free, peaceful, healthy and wholesome enviornment. The people at that time were kind, loving and had commonsense. I miss those days.

Italy is like magic, the people, the landscape, the beautiful culture. I have meet some italians and they are beautiful people, very warm people. Some day i'll go there.

I had dreams of visiting Italy for many years. It wasn't until I became a widow that I made my dream come true in 2019, My goodness, right before coronavirus. It was my husband's desire for me to go. It's too bad that he and I couldn't do this trip together.

You call it “a simple living?” Well, for me, that would be the most luxurious and relaxing life that I could ever imagine!

It's not just a simple life it's a heavenly life one could get in his lifetime , beautiful nature , silent places no disturbance everything is great

I have been in one of these houses during my vacation in Italy where the owner literally gave me keys of that place obviously for a charge. But that town on the hills was absolutely majestic. It took a small bus ride but then the town was full of tiny zig zag lanes going up and down small shops selling groceries & wine and hardly any tourist I don’t even know how I ended up there it was through some app. But I loved it. The owner was sweet just like the other people in the town. Lake como was a few kms down that hill. I literally stayed in the town just for the peace it offered from the hustle and bustle of Milan. Will love to visit it again soon.

To characterize a villa in Tuscany as "simple life" when it is opulence is frankly insulting to those who live a simple life... Also when it comes to our expectations for the future, sure they might momentarily be great but ultimately all will lose their strength and die.

@@danielwernegren8749 Hey Daniel, sorry you felt this way! It was never meant to be an insulting video. I just wanted to share the good times I had with family and friends. I think the word "simple" may have got lost in translation. "Simple" for me meant disconnecting from the life I usually live. This farm house has no TV, no internet, no air conditioning and a wood fired stove for heating. I could leave my phone turned off the entire time I was there as there was no need for it. In my eyes this was a simplified, less complicated but also more meaningful way of living. I have many Italian friends who have told me the struggles that some Italians have, particularly in terms of unemployment and so I would never want to insult their culture.

Of course there are milions suffering, but let me tell you something: neither I or you can do anything about it. All we can do is to improve our community, our family...we will not save the world, and a lot more people gotta die before things get better. Deal with it.

Come to India you'll find people living much simpler lives : in the countryside. There are still houses made of mud and straw here with a solitary light bulb and maybe a fan in the ceiling. Cooking is done in "earthen ovens" (dug in the ground), and people(farmers) spend their day working in the agricultural fields , in the hot sun and maybe take rest under the shades of huge trees. This is called being at one with nature.

The life you are living is a dream for many people. It doesn't require that much money but a little bit of courage

Personally I've been to Tuscany... such a wonderful place to live...

This is just amazing... We in India also have similar villages but all have migrated to city in search of livelihood..

Few years back and i would've never even considered this option you know bustling city life but now as a working adult I'd trade anything to get this peaceful simple life
