Sometimes they live so long in terrible conditions that once they recieve proper care, they get overwhelmed and die. There were Holocaust survivors that died because rescuers gave them unlimited access to food and water and their bodies couldn't take it. I am amazed he bounced back from that condition so well, and so fast. Lil dude deserves all the cuddles he can get!

Not everyone has the money to take care of sick animals. You can have a good heart all you want but you need money to care for them. Vet visits and treatment for animals are not cheap.

This is absolutely shocking and heartbreaking to see an animal in this way, there’s no excuse for this at all. But with the proper care and love he’s got a new second chance at life that any animal deserves not to be miss treated.

The most likely reason people won’t get animals proper treatment is because they think they’ll be judged for taking care of them properly or getting the animal treatment sooner than what they think should be. And so they let the animals suffer until it’s death and they think they can get away guilt free of their actions against the suffering animals.

I hesitated over the play button for many minutes before I pressed it. To see Hercules before being taken off the street was truly heartbreaking. To see the transformation into the handsome dog he became is absolutely amazing. You gave him hope, you gave him the love that he had been denied and, more importantly, you gave him the opportunity to live a long and fulfilling life. The world needs more people like you. 💖

....or cat! I rescued my lovely maine coon from certain death 8 years ago! Or any living creature, plants included! I saved a rosemary plant at Home Depot destined for the trash after I pointed out to the worker it was smashed! I followed him and when he dumped it I snatched it up then went and got the manager's permission to take it home and help it live! He agreed; been using its savory spice in my morning eggs! 💓😉

You can tell that dog has tons of personality, a real sweetheart! Thanks for being such a kind person and saving him 💖

Come to Fresno, California, if you want to rescue dogs and cats. So many running loose like we are in a third world country. I have rescued maybe 1,000 animals from our streets in the seven years I have lived here. There is a segment of our population who does not 'believe" in fixing their animals but DOES believe in dumping them once they aren't little anymore, or after they are done illegally breeding them.

@@ramanagal So sad. I’ve had kittens dumped in my front yard (I live on a corner-easy to dump animal whilst waiting for traffic. One kitten-dead, second had hernia so had to wait a few weeks to have him ‘fixed’ and hernia fixed at same time, third ‘Little ‘ would come in to my house to eat with my cat. Neighbours complained about Little so caught him and took him to shelter. My cat still looks towards the door expecting Little to come in to eat with him. Thank you for being a kind and generous person. ❤️🙏🏻

This is so awesome. God Bless this lady for giving her heart and her home to this little furbaby. The little baby is giving another chance at a good life and is so happy now. This is such a pretty baby.

When I see a dog in this condition it makes me angry. How could people see this dog day after day and not do anything. Me too. I literally started crying when I first saw him so skinny and sick. If I saw an animal that sick I would try to see what I could to help it. In fact, me and my late husband adopted a cat we found on the street who we named boo boo. He was skin and bones, it broke my heart, through some coaxing we got him comfortable with us and soon he started showing up every day to be fed and to cuddle with us. Eventually he became ours and all I can say is that he was the most beautiful and amazing cat I’ve ever known. He was extremely affectionate, always cuddling up next to us at night time. If I was crying or upset he’d come over, sit on my lap and gently paw at the tears on my face. I don’t know if he was abandoned or not but I can’t imagine anyone giving up such an amazing cat. Sadly he passed away last year, he was 12 years old by then and he just got really sick. It would have cost me around $4000 to get him all the care he needed but I didn’t have that kind of money so I ended up putting him down so he wouldn’t have to suffer. I’m so grateful for boo boo and the light that he was. These animals deserve so much love and care. They really do enrich our lives. Thank you for taking care of this beautiful dog and giving him a life of happiness!

Wow..!! Just amazing!!! Been having a rather depressing week and this cheered me up..that puppy just became an incredibly sweet and beautiful companion!! Bless this lady for having the courage to give him a second chance--he's so grateful and it shows!!!

Being an animal lover. Breaks my heart to see animals suffering like this. Glad that dog was able to have a life now.

This made me cry. How do so many people just walk or drive by this kind of despair and not feel obligated to help? I will never understand it. I’d save them all if I alone could do it. Thank you for giving him a second chance at life.

@@austinroccaro2219 Humans can help themselves and humans are the first one to get help, animals on the other hand cant save themselves and dont get any help from humans so yeah if I saw an abdonded animal and a homeless human I would without hesitation save the abdonded animal

Not gonna lie, if I saw a dog like that I would have thought it was too far gone, and just put it down so it wouldn’t suffer anymore. I’m really shocked it was able to recover after deteriorating to that stage, it *cannot* have been more than a day or two away from death. Most dogs at that point just fall over on their side and painfully wait to stop breathing and pass on.

@@austinroccaro2219 yeah i would tell them to get a god damned job and get a grip on their lives instead of begging for my last bit of cash so they can go satisfy their alcohol or drug addiction and get wasted somewhere under a bridge and repeat the cycle the next day. Homeless problem is a bit different to animal neglect and abandonment because like.. most of homeless dont give a sh*t about getting help from anyone, they just want easy money for substances lol.

I understand, coming that far, she took no risks and decided to keep him. Beautiful story indeed I helped a dog (not as sick as this one), after some months he was strong enough to be put to sleep for mouthcare. While waiting almost a whole day, my heart was really restless. I never experienced that. He connected his suffering heart to mine and in an instant all was good. (It was the first dog, said the vet, who did not sleep but sat in front of the cage,) I understood we should stay together as well. Until his last moment our hearts connected that way. Seeing this dogs eyes, not asking anything, but very convincing, I think you two rock ! 😅🥰.

BLESS YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS. POOR LITTLE THING, ANIMALS ONLY WANT LOVE. AND CARE.

How he even survived is insane, must of been just hours from dying. He must be an angel put on earth to be strong enough to live through that to bring some one love after his rescue

Dogs are made not to be tortured or to be sold as money, but to be loved and treated like companions. How do people fail to understand that Thank god that the people who saved the doggo exist

That poor dog has been to the depths of hell and seen the light at the end of the tunnel. She did amazing with him to bring him back from that to what he is now. Wonderful.

Such an uplifting, inspiring story! Your sick, malnourished little dog looked as if he was on the brink of dying, and you totally saved him! And not only is he now a bundle of energy, he is also beautiful! A gorgeous dog! Kudos for giving him a sweet life!

His transformation literally turned him into another dog. All it took was a little hard work and a lot of love. All dogs ever want is love.

"Hércules y su banda", she made a group so people could donate to pay for the vet treatments. There's so many people here that help animals but we need the help of others to pay for things

Thank you so much for saving this baby. I appreciate people like yourself so much! My husband and I have been taking in homeless dogs and cats for the last 21 years we have been together. I still feel so horrible about a dog I passed on the road on the way to my Mom's. At the moment I wasn't able to take him in and I still feel so guilty! Anyway thank you again for being really good people.

Some humans are worst than scum to not bother a beautiful soul out! Thank you for adopting that baby

He is such an adorable, adorable fluffy baby. You have done an amazing job with him and he seems so much happier, me playful and so energetic. Even your cat seem to love the fact that he's bouncing around and playing/aggravating them, but that's what brothers and sisters are for.

It’s truly amazing how with the right treatment and nutrition an animal can be transformed completely
