Very fair and informed view of Zim. I am surprised with your experiences with the authorities, though. I am 52 years old and have lived all my life in Zim and I have NEVER had a gun pointed at me! We do have roadblocks but most of the police are not armed save for a truncheon or baton. However, those were your experiences. You are one of us now, brother.

☺ Listening to your experiences as a Western foreigner in a troubled African country like Zimbabwe made me smile. You chose to be pleasant, neutral & fair in your comments. Your description of the people, foods, customs, how & where they live and the residential areas in Zim along with the urban towns & cities is spot on. I've been away from Zim residing in the UK for over 2 decades and your video talk took me back in a very personal way.

Westerners call 'flying ants insects' (ishwas), mopani worms, locusts etc - bugs. The chinese go even further, they eat cockroaches, scorpians etc. The aboriginals eat whichity grubbs (they resemble white cut worms).
