Living In Yerevan | A Walk Through the Beautiful Mountain Town of Tsaghkadzor, Armenia

Ойын-сауық

Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel!
Today I am taking you on a walk outside of Yerevan to Tsaghkadzor, a spa town and urban municipal community known for its health and ski resorts. It is located around an hour north of Yerevan or approximately 35 miles (56 km) in Kotayk Province and surrounded by the beautiful scenic alpine Tsaghkunyats Mountains.
Tsaghkadzor was founded during the 3rd century and was originally known as Tsaghkunyars Dzor however it has changed names several times throughout history. In Armenian it means valley of flowers or flower canyon.
I will take you to medieval monastery complex known as Kecharis Monastery which dates back to the 11th and 13th centuries as well as some of the picturesque views and streets.
Let me know in the comments what you thought of this walk and anything else you would like to see in the future videos.
Thank you for watching! Please subscribe, like and share, and of course stay tuned for new videos in the future!

These videos are beautiful. My only complaint, is they make me miss Armenia even more. Cannot wait to visit again.

Is it possible for a foreigner to live in Armenia and find work? What kind of a monthly income would a person need at minimum to survive in Armenia? I enjoy these videos btw!

Last I heard it is very affordable. Some rent prices are higher than usual especially in Yerevan because of all the Russians who escaped Russian conscription. But that is an abnormality. Other cities and villages are much cheaper.

@@blackened4me I don't live there and times have changed currently. It would be better to ask a resident of the country.

Of course it’s possible as a foreigner to live in Armenia. First thing to answer your question regarding monthly income depends on the lifestyle you choose to live and where you are living in Yerevan or outside of Yerevan. At least to be safe $1,200 monthly you can get by on, of course this was much lower a year ago. In regards to finding a job depends on several factors, if you have any skills in IT for example you have a better chance of finding some work. However, many jobs require you to know Armenian, or if you can at least communicate in Russian or both, it varies depending on the company/ job.

@@NouraZahle My initial question was to the uploader of this video. Why would you reply to something you don't know about?
