Daiki is more Finnish that most Finns! Even has his own Kuksa 👌

And Infact kuksa ain't that finnish but more Samish culture of origin. And 200 years ago it was the only mug one needed. And traditionally kuksa is to be burned or buried with the user so that 'death' (i.e. diseases) don't contagiate.

Simple content like yours always makes me happy and I thank you for me giving me an opportunity to be happy because of your precious vlogs. Keep vlogging and keep enjoying your life. Thanks as always! We will film next weekend.
Thank you again for a lovely vlog. You always share good cooking ideas to try at home. What it comes to the exceptionally cold winter this year, the good thing is that in Finland, most homes and apartments have very efficient heating, so no-one needs to be afraid of being cold even though it might be chilly outside. Looking forward to your vlogging collaboration.

Moikka Daiki .

Kiitos katsomisesta!😀
Oh hell yeah you have found "kuksa", only thing you need for drink in wilderness! You should find and carve your own! Once you have carved it, you need to put coffee grounds in it for few days, take them out and put cognac in...until it does not suck anymore in the wood. Then you can be sure it will hold any liquid.
7-year-old Finnish kids can communicate well with a hair stylist about hair in English? Wow the schools in Finland are really good....! Daiki if you have kids, they'd go to great schools
Subarashi, Daiki! I'm excited that you met Kat and will make videos together. I hope that you will meet and make videos with Varpu from Her Finland too. You both cook well!
Nice video as always. That was really cool that you met KatChats! I'm waiting for to see what kind of a video you made together.

Hang in there, Daiki. Your viewers here cheer for you! Maybe try going to a botanical garden. There's a greenhouse which can make you feel warm. And of course walk outside when the sun is out
I’ve been following you long enough now to say to myself when you said you need to stop to buy a Runeberg dessert “ah! His favourite cake 😊” Btw, I have been once on the Runeberg boat to Porvoo from Hamina. It was 30 years ago during a summer time visit to Finland and we had lunch and Runeberg cake on board. My mother was visiting too and her sister (my parents were the only family to leave Finland) organised the trip. The boat travels regularly from Helsinki I see. Perhaps you should try it out when the weather warms up. Then maybe a bus back. Have you been to Porvoo yet? It’s so near to Helsinki.

Kiiotos paljon! Julkaisen videon joka la klo 18.
It's always so relaxing watching your videos while I paint. I was actually thinking about the rice just as you said it, I wish you could do a video on japanese ingredients and where you buy them for cooking! Like what rice you would buy if you had to get it in Finland, I've been meaning to get another bag and I'm not satisfied with the calrose varieties they sell in asian shops so I'm looking at Tokyokan. Also you could bond with my partner over your shared love of ruunebergintorttu, he's just as obsesses with them as you :D!

Thanks for watching! Actually I don't really buy rice in Asian shops since I bring lots of rice when I got back to Japan. Last time when I bought Japanese rice from an Asian shop, it wasn't good quality for the price to be honest.
@hyb6948

@@DAIKIFinlandLifeexactly the reason why I’m looking at Tokyokan, the rice is a bit pricier than asian shops but they source straight from Japan. They have kimetsu no yaiba rice on sale at the moment, because of course japan has rice with an anime license. If you ever have extra room in your suitcase I’ll pay you to bring me back some rice haha!
Such a nice and calm vlog! I really enjoyed watching this vlog and it also makes me happy to see that you also find nice or positive things even though we have a dark and cold winter here in Finland! Nice idea also to perhapse collaborate with another KZreadr. Are you open to meeting other youtubers in Finland? Or even maybe meeting fans?

Runebergintorttu on omakin lempparini! 🤩🤩 Tiesitkö, että Runebergin vaimo Fredrika oli kuuluisaa miestään etevämpi mm. kielissä, ja hoiti miehensä puolesta tämän kirjeenvaihtoa useilla eri kielillä eri maihin? 🤭🤭

I would like to learn more about Kyoto! I read the book "Memoirs of a geisha" and loved it. It happened in Kyoto

Do you know that you should never wash kuksa with detergent, only with water? The fat of the coffee treats the wood. If you wash it with water, it might crack.

Lapsilla on ihmeellinen kyky oppia vieraita kieliä. Esimerkiksi minun lapset puhuvat parempaa englantia, kuin minä itse, vaikka heistä vanhin on vasta 11-vuotias. Luulen, että he ovat oppineet englantia parhaiten pelaamalla erilaisia pelejä internetissä.
