My grandparents lived in Pacifica and being from LA I'd visit every summer and I learned sf visiting her. I would show people around moved to NYC in 84 and my favorite area was a area not that far from presedio you would go down this hill and in the 80s between each house had a view of the Golden gate Bridge To me that was the most beautiful place on earth. Went in 22 and now there's a sign saying no tourist buses and they put hedges to block the view between houses it was very embarrassing cos I bragged about it. I don't know name of the area though

Not sure the specific hedged area you're referring to either. I didn't move to the city until 2012, so I can only imagine how much it has changed since the 80s!

@@austinklar this was to west of the presidio I wish I knew the street names these houses are on a cliff and the Golden Gate Bridge view is between them nothing else blocks there view there's a sign now saying no tourist bus I was so upset and embarrassed I never thought to pay attention to the street names for ruining the beauty. In Beverly Hills in 51 my grandparents owned a sandstone brick house that won architecture digest house of year it was made of sandstone brick and it was beautiful also had a atrium in middle where we played Gilligans island cos it looker like a jungle first house in Beverly Hills coming from the San Fernando valley. My grandmother sold house in 71ans Dr who bought it painted sandstone brick white and ruined it. That's how I felt about the area in sf

@@RR-fg2rl immediately to the west of Presidio is Sea Cliff. Houses are built on the edge with full ocean and bridge views. Might be the area you’re talking about!

@@austinklar problem with sea cliff is you can't see the bridge between the houses anymore. I bragged to people when I was showing them about area and said get ready for wow factor and there was no wow just big homes with views of the bridge between them gone. If you can find pics of area when it had those views between homes I'd like to show what it looked like I'll even pay. Had no camera back then to think about taking pics I'd always thought view would be there

could you be anymore negative. you realize of course that your thoughts and beliefs and what you give your attention to, create your reality. Not everyone is affected by the dark version you keep broadcasting. the funny thing is, no matter where you move to, your beliefs go with you, and you will see all the things you say you don't like about San Francisco, wherever you go. @@stevenjohnson8736
