The mission is the worst.
I’ve been there!!! It was really gorgeous.
Don't buy it with all the corrupt Rats running the city.
Wish they finished building the central subway to North Beach. The tunnels actually extend to just below Washington Square Park, so it would be possible to build a station relatively cheaply, but I doubt it’ll be built in the next 20 years. That’d really make the neighborhood perfect.
That would change things up for sure. Still a 10/10 in my book 🍕🍝
Oh good just 15k a month!
Sf is a dumphole filled with loserss who are unhappy. Never go there if you dont absolutely have to
Finally
It appears San Francisco's finally having a real estate reckoning. I was wondering when people would finally wake up from the spell they've been under.
😂 what for? SF still covered in shit
Someone from Dubai or China will probably buy it for a tax write off while never stepping foot in the building
What's wrong with those kids? This house needed some major updating. Have they done it they could then have sold it for $20 million! How short sided they are!! That's criminal. Some stupid silicon Valley douchebag is going to buy it gut it out ruin everything that's charming about that home and then turn around and sell it a couple years later for $30 million. I really hate seeing what California has become.
Is there a way to meet the ghosts? I mean for 60 years someone must have died there
I thought you said "to goats"
Ugly and old. Everything is small and lacks any modern conveniences. Needs to be massively updated but with keeping it's character in mind.
Great suggestions. As an SF resident you hit some of the best 👍🏽
B.S that building was founded
I’d change the cupboards, install new appliances, and a new kitchen floor, but leave the original architecture as I detest the modern, minimalist, cookie cutter look.
Thank you for your excellence in analysis of the Marin County market. Looking forward to a mid summer update . Thanks !
You have to sie state farm to get paid fully what ypu paid to get stay away from state farm
I have a California home and a Texas home, very similar value. CA is 4X for same insurance policy
That initial buget that money was going unto pockets
good idea! My friend and roommate worked at the Royal Exchange. It was always fun.
Nice! Love that spot
That's maybe 35,000 max. 😂😂😂
They lost a lot of money, but they're still wealthier than most of us, prob drop in the bucket for them. And the new buyers didn't get it for a steal, it just means the buyers before them paid too much.
Wouldn’t move into SF even if it was free.
better to rent am so glad to sell an old single family home…
Wow. I wish!
I want that house so badly
6 month is doing good for costum home. If somebody likes it they gone over close to fullprice anyway.
6 months is horrible in Marin. A home like this priced properly would sell in a week. They spent 3 years on the buildout/permitting.
Insurance is leaving California. They won’t come back the way it is over regulated. If the state takes over, service will diminish, and real estate will suffer extensively.
Yup. Already has suffered extensively.
My girlfriend and I(24,26) want to move there with our son(about to be 3) & we just came back from the SF Giants beating LA this past weekend(June 28th & 29th) & it was the best experience ever! Had we listened to what’s being said online we wouldn’t have gone. The city is so clean, people from ALL over the world! We can’t wait to move there. I will be the #1 fan on your channel now😅
Great to hear!! Really appreciate it and glad you had a great time.
Except for the rampant crime and out of control Democrats SF is a modern day Gotham City
Yeah real scary here. Stay away.
No one’s trying to live in California 😂😂
And yet....The population rose by 67,000 people in 2023 to a total of 39,128,162, the highest of any U.S. state.
You couldent PAY ME to live in California with the amount of effed up nonsense, from the crackheads in the streets to the crack head politicans ruining the state, they’ve ruined it. 24 million to live among absolute stupidity
How many times have you replaced the windows in your car? They blew the window out of my car on the embarcadero. I was only parked for four hours. Three of the usual suspects pulled up broke the window and took nothing because there was nothing in the car. Oh I'm 6th generation San Francisco. I am fairly smart I owned a tow truck service for 10 years in the city.🤔
I've replaced mine once in the 11 years i've been here. Should be 0.
That rent is outrageous!!!! No wonder people are moving out of California it’s hard to afford anything there!!!!
67,000 people net population growth in 2023 in CA. People pay to live here and always will
Who wants to live in that s hole city?
Damn I wish that was there when I worked the Noe valley farmers market. There were 0 public bathrooms in walking distance. I’m glad there’s one now
For sure!
How many low income
10% at that one. (now called Isle House). There will be hundreds of BMR units on the island
Damn! This is one beautifully built house. Glad it still stands for people to visit. The workmanship is inspirational.
Agree 100%
The manufacturer of this bathroom donated all materials and labor, the 1.7 million dollar estimate was just for the red tape and paperwork for the city of San Francisco. The reason it was only $200,000 was that the city waved a lot of the fees. And I'm sorry at 1.7 million is about the cost of building a house in San Francisco if you are allowed to. If you're new home cast a shadow on your neighbor's property they can deny you a permit to build.
Glad the city waived a lot of fees and it didn't cost anywhere close to the estimate
You can buy a whole building for 6 million in sf 😂
In an area where you don't want to live, sure.
That's really beautiful. Thanks for post. The interior is gorgeous!
Glad you liked it!
Talk about pissing money away.
haha count it
Bless this man his history and efforts

Having local people speak is important. Can't stand doomism it makes everthing worse.
Thanks! Can’t stand it either-there’s no point to it. It’s not reality
Honestly, I don’t understand why it wasn’t just turned into an airport Afterwards. Same with the old airfield on Alameda. There’s so much contaminated soil, that has to be removed from either location. It seems like it would’ve been easier to Just put an airport On either location. What I really wonder is why The secondary airport, OAK End up on Bay Farm. It Seems like such a random place considering there were already other better locations.
Probably more profitable to build rental housing the long term. But I don't know the financials -- im sure the developers did a lot of analysis. Would be nice having an airport there and not have to go to SFO
San Francisco is dying
Sure
