I hear you. Last year I took the Amtrak California Zephyr from Emeryville/San Francisco to Chicago and was mesmerized by the beauty of this country. Phenomenal experience so grateful I was able to take that train ride.

Currently, I'm overseas in Europe. Being in Europe has totally made me look at USA differently. There is nothing like USA. I'm so ready to come back‼️ USA has me too spoiled.

Yes, I am so grateful to be an American, we have so many privellages that we take for granted. I still would love to see the world though, but the U.S is always going to be my home sweet home.

I plan on doing this with my son for about a year when he turns around 5. I think I would stay a little longer in states/cities though so I would eliminate not knowing where to go/camp most nights. But you have completely inspired me to take my child out and get some experience. I don’t want to fully homeschool but I think taking a year off every 5 years to just explore and homeschool him and would be amazing!

You are a road warrior for sure. That’s a long driving day-13 hours. I do love my quick pasta meals also. It’s great that your travel has been smooth with no accidents. Hope you reach your destination soon. Peace.

Nomi, look into getting some compression socks for your long drives. It will protect your circulation!

You can park overnight at many WalMarts, you just need to call ahead to make sure, most of them allow it, a few have ordinances but most of them especially along highways, allow it. Also they have the best chicken fingers!

When I got married 50 years ago, tuna noodle casserole was one of two or three things. I knew how to cook. We got so sick of it that I rarely use it anymore. I did buy some in case of food shortages, but I hope I don’t have to eat it :-)

Love the meal. I do that combination but I use egg noodles, tuna and roasted tomatoes. You do make great meals. Consider doing an RV cookbook. Stay safe and blessings!💖

My husband usually drives our motorhome, but we use construction stops and heavy traffic to switch if he has to use the bathroom or stretch or whatever and then we don’t have to pull off somewhere or find a rest area! Making use of what would normally be a nuisance and treating it as a blessing is how to thrive on the road! Love to see you thriving!❤

I think I would put something green in the pasta like fresh spinach and shrimp instead of tuna.

My car insurance pays for cip windshields, I would check with them to see if they cover anything. I would also check with safelight to see if you can get a discount because they just replaced it. It can't hurt to ask. Thanks I enjoyed it.

If you travel back thru norther Montana, around flathead lake is beautiful, glacier national park is so beautiful, beyond breath taking. Safe travels.

You inspired me and I bought the 4 pack of yellow fin tuna! So ready to give it a try. My husband and I were able to travel a lot this year (driving!) and I agree so much beauty in this country. We spanned from New Orleans to upper peninsula Wisconsin and it’s just amazing how varied the land and water formations are here.

I have a couple cracks om my windshield like that, and when it happened I got home and put some gorilla glue on them, after watching a few KZread videos and they have not spread any further, thank god!

You're a great cook and your food looks delicious, please be-careful with Tuna, since it causes Neurological and behavioural disorders after ingestion or exposure of different mercury compounds. Symptoms include tremors, insomnia, memory loss, neuromuscular effects, headaches and cognitive and motor dysfunction. Tuna has a lot of heavy metals and it's really toxic to the brain, salmon and other fish don't have so many heavy metals. Especially canned Tuna, has high levels of heavy metals 🙏

When defrosting windshield. DO NOT use wiper fluid. Defrost only. Use scraper. Heat from inside car, and cold air from outside equals new windshield. My last repl was s somewhere betw 2012/13 @ no charge thru company. Peace and blessings to you.

Our insurance covers our winshield and isn't part of the deductible. We have State Farm. Maybe yours will too.

Hi, you take very good care of your vehicle & I’m sure you have insurance. In case you weren’t aware, your Comprehension protection covers the crack & even chips in windshield. Deductibles on Comp are usually less than the collision. Most companies will waive the deductible for repairs of chips. Travel safe…yeah, no steal thing in in small towns. Stay safe & Be Well.

Nomi SafeLite is all over the place. I'd find one of their locations and it the cracks fixed sooner rather than later. You never know when you'll hit a pothole or something that could cause it to spread and they can't repair it.

Maybe you should think about getting your van lifted, so you can have the ability to safely access these extreme off-roading type of places. In California, it is Safelite’s policy to only do 3 chip repairs on a windshield. The 4th chip requires a new windshield.
