No joke.. It looks freaking comfortable as hell. I’m sure there’s downs of downsides but look at all the positive stuff. You’re seeing places that I’ll never get to see. You’re doing something that you want to do on you’re own time! I whole heartedly commend you! Tight lines.

Hi, you rock. You are for sure living the dream. My partner and I have been together 32 yrs now and we fell into the let's get together buy a house work like hell for 40 yrs and retire and take it easy. You my dear have it figured out. Wish we would have decided to stick it out and just throw it to the wind and live your dream. We have adopted a daughter, she is about to be 9. We've had her since she was 2. I hope when she sets out on her life's path she follows her dreams like you. Rock on girl If you're ever down around Atlanta you have a beautiful country place to camp on our land. We're just minutes from the lake and river. Rock on! Stay safe.

Hey sweetie I'm a 62yr old grandmother who is really to retire raising two grandsons 1 is 16 an 1 is 14 the 14yr old has said he would camp with me. I'd have to have a small camper cause I'd never be able to climb into the back of a truck. Watching you makes me feel young. I truly enjoy watching you. Love all your energy. Can't wait to see your next video. You young lady keep doing what makes you happy. When I get ready to start camping I'll be looking for pointers from you. Love you babygirl.

👋Becca! Husband and I van camped for 45 days straight and found that a portable Pop-up up SCREEN ROOM was key for those hot days. We would find a local park and pop it up. Not the Canopy kind but the little quick Pop-up ones. You are sheltered from the insects and people don't tend to bother you when you're inside a screen room day camping. A lot of local city or county parks have free electric receptacles if you look for them too. They're usually up high or down low on the inside or outside of a picnic area or a gazebo. Running your fan is great inside the screen room too. We would oftentimes fix food,, eat, then take a great nap in the park. All FREE. Then you can find an all night spot to camp or use an all night Mc Donald's for doing edits at night if you like changing up your normal routine sometimes. Unless a park is clearly marked as "NO DAY CAMPING then you can stay all day and rejuvenate, cook, eat, sleep (nap, always just napping 😉) as long as you like and as long as the park remains open. Great also to see and meet people and their pets. A side note: always park where you have a clear view of your truck... Parks are sometimes busy and if there's an Park Office let them know you're enjoying their park for the morning, afternoon, evening or all day. Otherwise they will MAYBE check-in on you. They wanna be sure you're not a lurker, etc. So doing that is ALWAYS GOOD. Also check about buying a State Park Pass or Park Passport. Free parking, and access to the parks in that State. Many have great fishing too!

Hi Becca , that is so exciting that the small things remind you of a certain others In your life. That's the best thing. Not to many people are like that anymore. You need to see if you put a top vent on your camper shell to vent the hot air. Especially with your fans. Cause hot air rises. Trust me I'm from Arizona. Keep on keeping on.

I've been at it for over 2 years now been all over the country fishing, hiking, camping. It's wonderful. Yes there are downsides but the pros far outweigh the cons. What I tell ppl is I can do the same things you do at home there are just more steps to it and it's a process. I can shower but it's not as simple as walk 10 steps to the bathroom. The longer you do it the more you find out how to do certain things better and more efficiently. Number one item I say to always have with you, baby Wipes. Yes it sounds weird but you'd be surprised how much you'll use them for all kinds of stuff. Happy trails

I camp in Australia and can definitely recommend, when you get solar, get yourself a fridge. Engel is the best brand but is pricey. I’m assuming you can get that brand in the US. Engel have the best efficiency for power. Don’t go lower in size than a 40L. It will allow you to comfortably have food and drinks for a few days without having to go for town runs. No matter what people say, size does matter. It’s surprising how quickly a fridge will fill up.

You need a Portable Power Station. Get one that can be charged by Car/Cig, AC and Solar. They have AC Outs to power desktop fans, laptops, TV's and other small appliances. They also have USB ports. I bought one from Amazon after Hurricane Maria in 2017 and it's still running great. It would be perfect for what you do.

You have ZERO idea how much you're inspiring others with your work. Also in New England, from TX, and the heat yes, is an issue there year round. Mostly why I moved NE; plenty of other reasons, but I did it at 40 after too many years of hurricanes, heat and humidity. LOVE New England...and then this summer happens. This has been AFRICA hot. Lol, and relatives in TX are still complaining...lol...MOVE, fools! Seriously, however...got my gear ready and hook wet this past weekend and today, so thank YOU for the boot in the tail to get me out again. Also saw a gorgeous waterfall in VT Sunday...if you're up this way, ask, and I'll give you the directions, as it's not huge, but dang, it's gorgeous and has lots of fish you could sight fish in certain areas. You're inspiring others to get out and find these places, so GO YOU! And yes, I despise heat, so...AC works at my house...knew better than to move here 20 or so yrs ago, no a/c! Get it, Becca!

Couple of thoughts/suggestions, how about a taller/higher truck cap to let the hot air rise more. 2: maybe put in a 2 way fan/vent into the cap like they have in rv's/vans (maxxair are the best, 135 bucks) 3: maybe make a amazon wishlist for people to get things 4u to make truck life a little easier?? Oh just thought of another thing might be pricy but what about changing out the window between the cab and back to a slider, that way more air if needed or the ac from the cab can go into the back?? Ohhh more lol, how about a solar charging battery pack... that could help with the fans. There are also super speed charger blocks that you could plug into an adapter into tge cigarette lighter spot. I gotta win something for all these suggestions lol 😆

Hi Becca, you know that you were swimming and just after you developed that rash. I'm thinking swimmers itch.. not heat rash. I had heat rash before and it don't seem to be the same. Swimmers itch comes from water that has little bugs. Might want to google this. Great video as always. My questions are when its night time and you have to use the bathroom what do you do youve never talked about that or show what you use.. Second question is how to you itch and itch? Hahaha. It cracks me up when I hear people say don't itch it instead of don't scratch it...haha had to give you a hard time in fun. Hope the rash got better quickly. Just wondering if you went home or slept in the truck with how bad your rash was. Through the video I really couldn't tell how bad the rash was but it's no fun to be itchy especially in the heat. When you get everything set up for your solar panels will you be getting a jackery battery pack? With that you can have a frig, fan plugged in I think they are so cool especially for camping, like I've seen in so many videos. Anyway your videos rock and I can't wait for another one...stay safe always

PS: I know you're always careful but it made me nervous watching that boiling water so close to you inside the truck. :( I hope in the future you can do that outside or on the tailgate. I don't want something to tip over and you spill boiling water on yourself! Please always be safe. :)

Always keep a couple moist wash rags in a ziplock bag in your cooler to cool your face at night.
