The Nc500 is a fantastic road to drive. I did it a couple of years ago but wish I had spent more time exploring rather than just driving it so I can say I drove it.

It will be a calm and clear night … we got hit with a hurricane (1987). The forecasts has not improved since 🤣🤣 It’s great to see you so happy, Chedder Gorge is on my list either this summer or next. Hi ellie,head off up to the scottish highlands and go explore off the beaten track as you will find many stunning drives and wild camping places 😊 this is where i am living .if you want to explore further away then head off to the alps and also head off up into the mountains off the beaten track,iv done them afew times in my land rovers and i am moving into my defender 110 in 2 months to live full time and will save me over £1100 a month on bills which i can then use towards doing many more overlanding trips 😎.take care and have FUN 😁

Hi Eleanor, Enjoying the vlogs. Thank you. Also love the choice of vehicle but you could say I am somewhat biased. If you get a cooler, they ruin all the time drawing 30-50w so better to run off the Jackery and if you can supplement with solar when you can. Running it of the car will flatten the battery. Better off with a compressor fridge over a cooler IMO. Not sure if you have some of this stuff already but if I may can I suggest a few things. 1. An air compressor should any tyres lose pressure. 2. Spare tyre valve caps, stops any crap getting in the valve and affecting pressures. I also carry spare valves as I drive mine off road a fair bit. But valve caps are a good thing to have. 3. Spare blade fuses. Fuse boxes are located under the bonnet on the passenger side, below the glove box and under the boot floor. 4. Jump leads and a jump pack. 5. If you car camp on grass a fair bit the terrain response will sort you most times but some traction boards may be worth it if you will see a lot of rain, they can be stored on roof racks/rails. 6. Basic Tool kit, you never know. 7. Tow Strap. Must visit Cheddar Gorge myself sometime, looks great.

Genuinely, spat out a mouthful of Coca-Cola over me keyboard when you said "for those that are new here, I cannot cook" and the look to the camera lol. Oh brilliant :)

Another adventure with the amazing zany Ellie :) You never fail to make us smile with your addictive full speed full-on edits of your trips - and this one lived up to expectations with excitement / drama (well.. sausage drama) / and chaos....lol ;) You ask for other suggestions for some great driving roads? Well as it happens, I have two in mind which I have driven in my own Freelander so I can recommend them if you feel you want to cross the border ;) A5 in North Wales heading between Betws-y-Coed and Bangor - the height of the adjacent mountains takes your breath away (check out Streetview); and down in South Wales, the infamous Black Mountain Pass A4069 between Llandovery and Brynamman, as used by Top Gear and others. Takes you over the top with stunning views, as well as a challenge for your brakes coming down but totally manageable in Stitch.... Already looking forward to your next exciting adventure as you seem to feel so much better now! As always, take care and safe travels :) Pete

Forget the haters you have been getting they are more than likely jealous of you for being brave enough for doing this and showing the ups and downs of your life. Cheddar Gorge looks amazing would love to visit it and drive on it. But i'd recommend coming up to the Peak District which is all beautiful and drive on the Winnats Pass and the Cat ‘n’ Fiddle. My brother lives in Plymouth with his wife and two boys. I love to visit and have a few drinks at the Barbican. It’s one of my favourite places ever. Especially the lido in summer. And a few pints at the waterfront.

Never done Paris in a car I just use eurostar from london never actually stayed in Paris always passing through on way to Brussels or nice south France

@@EleanorGraceDiaries should be able to get one supplied and fitted for £200 now. On my transit I had it fitted in the engine bay to minimise noise inside.

Putting coolant in a car in Pommyland seems a bit of an oxymoron. I’m guessing that’s the field you were freezing your tits off in? I’ve only ever felt that cold a couple of times. The last time was at a Roadhouse about 1,200 km from here, heading back from a trip to outback South Australia. I’m not sure if you know this, but it takes about 16 hours of driving to get to our state border. Anyway, it was August, which is our winter, and the wind was blowing off the Antarctic. I parked at the back of the Roadhouse for the night and I was wearing full tracksuit a beanie, five blankets and socks, all while I was in a thick winter sleeping bag. I was in bed by 7 pm and I remember it took about half an hour to get warm before I could sleep. Up again at 5am for a hot shower and an 11 hour plus stops drive home. Looks like your weather forecasters just sit at the local pub and use darts to do a forecast. All that stuff in summer as well. It must make it challenging in Winter. Our winter involves a fair bir of rain but not like the east coast. Often we get rain from the north west which means warmer air with it. So it could be pissing down but still 20 degrees. Towards the end of the system, the winds turn southwest and it may get as cold as 14 before fining up. All through winter I wear the same clothing, shorts and T Shirts. I was going to do an urban camp at the beach but I got a bit busy and now the temps are on their way up to 41 Friday and a cooler 40 Saturday. Expect me complaining about sweating my nurries 🥎 🥎 off next week. I think some late night fishing may be the go. PS. That was a typical chaotic video that we love from you. If you ever come out here and I get to show you around, I will cook. Take care and stay safe

I’d probably be stuck for choice on where to park up for the night haha. Oh that was windscreen wash I was putting in at the beginning lol.
