What's your favorite Murfreesboro restaurant?
Moved here from New Orleans suburbs and am so shocked how expensive houses are in Nashville area, even Murfreesboro! But we love Murfreesboro, especially walking our dog on all the trails and the Stones River for kayaking.

I am considering taking a trip down there one day. My younger sister did visit, and she loves it, she misses her trip there very much.
Super excited, moving there in June from Vancouver, WA. Looking forward to the scenery change and warmer weather

I lived in Vancouver and couldn't stand it😩 Tooooooo much rain, and just crazy weather period. I was so relieved to move back to TN 🤗

@@gwenverachain2609We live in Bellevue WA and want to move to Tennessee to retire. I can’t stand 6 months or more of mostly rainily days so yeah I know what you mean. The winters are so miserable. Summers are amazing but way too short. Murfreesboro is one of my top picks. Every place has there pros and cons but I see more pros retiring in TN.

Here if you bid 5 or $10,000 over asking on a home listed at $400,000 you might get it, but anything under that we're seeing 20 to $30,000 over asking.
There are investors buying up entire subdivisions as far north of Atlanta as cartersville, which is about an hour or so away just to rent out. And I agree, I think the high prices are going to be hitting a plateau and becoming the new Norm which is sad for current home buyers and future home buyers. Want to help a buyer the move-in ready homes even ones that need a little cosmetic work are having 24 to 37 offers put in on them well over asking with an average of $30,000 over asking and 9 out of 10 times they are appraising for that as well.

It really is insane all over! I agree, it's becoming downright unaffordable to own a home.Thanks for sharing what is going on in the Atlanta market!

From what I’ve heard from people I know that rent, landlords are raising the rent every time you renew. If you plan on living here at least two years buying a home is the more financially stable option.
Are African Americans present in Murfreesboro and would we be welcomed?
