Praying for Kyran. Mom please get a therapist or psychologist for her. As a healthcare professional, and since this happened twice it can be a sign of self destruction and she’s having trouble dealing with trauma and/or emotions. I’m so happy you changing her number but seek help for her to find out the root cause. You’re truly a momma bear because you went into action with number changing. Great job mom. Yes agree 💯 with @shadesofvintageblue to see someone who is trained to help with various things she deals with in life. To help her navigate those things in a better way. And be more social bit by bit, maybe her starting taking driving lessons with a company that does that. Gives her something to do outside being in the house maybe on the way to learn more about independence.

I agree with this. As an adult, therapy has helped me tremendously. I wish I had therapy as a teenager… I know I would have avoided a lot of unnecessary stress.

My son has a soft heart too! All we can do is pray that the world doesn't tear them down because they are "nicer" than most . May the Lord reward the gentle souls in this world

Kyran reminds me of myself when I was younger. My Mom did her best with 1 check to make sure my siblings and I looked nice. There were girls who were negative towards me because of whatever hairstyle I had. I cut my hair. Now that I’m older, I’ve realized those girls were jealous. I’ve been blessed with a great Mom and now I have confidence that some find intimidating. With a great Mom like yourself, Kyran will gain the strength and confidence her Mom Peyton has.

Kyran rocks any hairstyle (just like her mom). I love that you are setting boundaries for her to remove herself from people who say things which result in her cutting her hair. I did two spontaneous big chops, and there can be something liberating about it even when it's done on a whim. I got super emotional when you said Kyran cut her hair over a friend. It reminds me of my daughter (who’s now 22) and she’s an introvert, she def hold her emotions inside, and it’s like performing brain surgery to get the simplest thing out of her.
