I really appreciate the small details when you leave the camera, yards away to give us a glimpse and angles of how you look traveling from the outside of your home. Lol I’m sure it’s tedious having to leave your camera, run back to your vehicle home, to pass by the camera, to reverse and pick back up your camera. But I noticed it and enjoy it! Your lifestyle is definitely inspiring !!

@@forestyforest Great video! See this video about lithium charging: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nJujq9GcgMq1pco.html , they show an alternator burning at 65A.. I think you've done well going with 20A, 40A could be dangerous especially in the long run.. car alternators are designed for typical lead-acid charging that is needed after starting the engine.. and even then they wear out. If you're pulling 20A I think that's perfect, but any more will get risky.. You need a high performance alternator with temp probe. I wouldn't be heating water electrically to conserve the electrical system but that's just me. The less you draw/refill the longer your battery and alternator will last. You've figure it out so far, good job!.. Hopefully you make enough from the videos and get yourself a nice little and quiet Honda generator and use that for charging.. it's designed for that, unlike your car's alternator.

I lived in a 26' trailer for 5 years working industrial in Saskatchewan, I learned a few things about winter living in a trailer and I think they will apply to you. 1 create a cover on the outside of your windows, I used foil insulation from revy, this will stop moisture from freezing on your window and then leaking down into your van. get a quilted skirt for your van, stopping the cold wind from going under the van will be a game changer for you, on the real cold times if you can get some power, put a little ceramic heater inside the skirt. keep a roof vent open to let air flow. I installed a cover over the vent to keep weather out, you can buy them at any rv store. last get a moisture collecter, they use a bag of crystals, again any rv store will sell them. love the Vids man. feel free to hit me up with any questions, glad to help.

@@erinkeating4582 I can't speak for the first guy, but the reason I wrote that his van is definitely not one I've seen before is not a reference to the owner's customization, but the fact that it's a Chevy minivan (which I've since looked up). At least here in the U.S. Midwest, it's much less seen than Dodge or Ford vans.

I think you awaken the nomad deep in each of us. I love that you make your van essentially like an apartment. If you put the bike on the roof, you could even use that space for a washroom! Keep up the great work. We're all living vicariously through you.
