I worked with many Chinese manufacturing workers. They are very nice, friendly and polite people who like to treat the foreign person well. They live poor but they got very rich nature. I love them and miss them all.
omg they're place is much cleaner than where I live in the Philippines currently and I am middle class HAHAH. Actually they live rather well and live in a better environment than even some US residents who are below poverty line

they are poor but still have a lot of pride and dignity. no one resort to stealing or murdering each other like in the US right now.
It's has more character than those miles of cement boxes of godawful Soviet apartment blocks, this has some individualism and greenery. There's appears some serenity. Maybe I'm way off base, I'd like to know. Orderly, neat, clean looking. I really like that. Thank you very much for sharing this with us, and all your time and effort. Patricia. America August. 2022

Sorry, I've been listening to too much CSpam internet radio with DRumpF and Biden both dumping on China for very insincere reasons, and that rather strange comment was just some unrestrained lowbrow sarcasm, that said I'm presuming you never knew the name on the birth certificate the Ukrainian used to get elected in 2016 was "Donald J. hi patricia, you are correct in saying these places are orderly, clean and a feeling of serenity, these communitys are the favourite places of mine to visit whilst iwas in china, i was pleasantly suprised by them once i had become accustomed to the runned down looking appearance from the outside and enterd the lanes and alleys, the overall joy of walking through and truelly believing you could be back in time 100 years or so was the highlight for me, i think you would enjoy imensly if you ever get the chance.very calm and peacfull enviorenment, the chinese in my experience in these communitys are very warm and friendly people.👍
As a entrepreneur and seller of chinese products in INDIA 🇮🇳 i have good relationships with some chinese manufacturers, traders, and factory staff.. their dedication to profession is much appreciated & as many says I don't see any such slavery in their life and work🙏 china deserves more winning business (💐INDIA -CHINA💐)
You should check out camp cities here in United States to see how lucky you are.
It doesnt look bad. It looks like in my own hometown in the Seventies in Western Germany. Ok, lots of weird cables, but thats the only difference.
I'm struck by how clean everything is. Also, there's no fat people.
As an indian🇮🇳 I am very satisfied by watching this video....still we are far behind of China's developement.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR VIDEO,

Peaceful. People have food? People have clothes? People have shoes? Time to rest? Help if sick? Homes are safe and sturdy? The buildings may be old and not the newest, but if the above met, I can stomach that. In contrast, the cars look clean and well-kept though.

Thank You for these heart felt videos! I am grateful for your good work. Yes, places you show maybe not always very happy & picture perfect, but people are not aggressive towards you. Nobody threatens to beat you up or kill, atmosphere is calm. That is NORMAL life flow. Similar places here in US, Europe or Russia are far more dangerous, dirty, hopeless & full of mentally disturbed people. Thank You again for opportunity to see real people & places in China, it was very interesting for me🙏🙏🙏🙂

Having spent years working in and exploring Chongqing, I cannot understand the reason for the title of this video. Nobody looks happy and there is no way to know if they are factory workers or not. Over the years of my stay in Chongqing, I explored many older and more interesting areas around the city, where I witnessed the wholesale distruction and redevelopment of areas of a city with a long and truly fascinating history. This would appear to be filmed in an area yet to be redeveloped near the XinQiao Hospital in Shaping Ba district in the western suburbs. If this was filmed just two weeks ago, the current pandemic would certainly explain the uncrowded street scapes. All the signs focussed on in this video were for empty homes for rent..... not a good sign for the owners but there are plenty of cheaply built high rise for rent offered as alternatives before these properties eventually get demolished.

those building look worn down and poor, depressing. i think the workers deserve a better place to live, they are the ones who by their labor produce everything and built the world. in the end of the video there are tall skyscrappers to see, appartments. why dont the workers get appartments in those tall skyscrappers ? i think those skyscrappers will be much newer and better than those old houses where the workers currently reside. china is so rich and no new appartments for the workers ?? its same like in europe and the u.s.a., the few rich get rich by the labor of all the people while the people then are kept poor, in the u.s.a. that is called capitalism and in china "socialism", then they put people against each other over it and the few rich stay on top.
this must be the old city of Chongqing and the elderly people still occupy their house here. this houses are build accordingly to the natural strugtures of the land mountain hills as we can see there are many steps .
