Judith and Rus were simply wonderful together in this classic film. I like how they still have a wonderful magic between them even now.
Judith O'Dea delivered a convincing performance of a person that is in semi-shock.
I particularly like how their voices still sound and brings back memories, both speaking with great culture.
I've been a horror film fan since I was 5 years old (55 years and counting) and NOTLD is still my # 1 all time favorite with The Exorcist a close 2nd. It would have been great if George Romero had made a sequel to take place shortly after the original story. It would be interesting to see a sequel that would investigate the reasons why the dead were coming back to life and the aftermath of the original story.
The original "Dead" film is such an enduring classic! I am so glad these stars are around to discuss the film. How perfect for Halloween, too.
A 1967 Pontiac LeMans. A good car. I met Russ Streiner along with John Russo in a comic-com in Michigan in 2006 or 2007. They were great. I also met George Kosana (the chief) in 2008 or 2009. R.I.P.
I've seen this movie so many times, I lost count. I first saw it in Halloween of 1986, and I was amazed AND scared at the same time.
I had the awesome pleasure to meet the cast of NOTLD here in Albany, NY, about 3 years ago. They were all SO delightful and gracious, and they really do appreciate their fans. I always had a huge crush on Judith (Barbara) O'Dea, and she STILL looks beautiful today!

It sounds like this was your favourite part of the film: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nmF6qc6wZs29l7Q.html
I still love my Judith! She was so lovely and kind when I met her, also adore Karl Hardman's daughter.
Words can't describe how much I enjoy NotLD. Thank you so much for uploading both videos, it was very interesting to watch! :)
I didn't know that they had a get together every Oct.! The cemetery isn't that far from me, right out Mars/ Evans City Rd.! Take it into E.C., make a left turn onto rt.68w go a couple hundred yards, as soon as you cross the railroad tracks make another left, then another quick one up the hill into the cemetery! I know a beloved farmer who passed in 79', and his wife last year, who are buried there! RIP Mr.and Mrs. D. !!!😇😇
This is so cool. This was my first ever favorite horror movie at age 12 and I’ve been a zombie fan to this day at 38. I will never get tired of the backstories and a group of regional actors coming together and accidentally establishing an entire genre. So awesome.
I wouldn’t be able to recognize Johnnie. I know he aged but his voice changed a lot. Barbra looks the same just her hair is short.
I was there just last week !!!😎
Judith had a great will to live Johnny was awesome as well
Cheap little low budget horror movie changed their lives. Superstars 52 years later. I Still have nightmares. Scared the shit out of me in 1968
I love the grave yard. It is peaceful out there. I just spend 4 days there and 20 plus hours reenacting the opening scene. I still can't believe I spend that much time doing that. I can't wait to put it up on you tube. Tom

Did u post it ? I'd like to see how it came out
" They're coming to get you Barbra!"👩🤓💀
4:03 In that case, their last name is Cole. That's the name on the headstone of the grave they visited in the film.
Nice! What a great time! It was really hot, but no one cared..haha! Dustin Blankenship was there doing zombie makeup for the kids..and adult kids...and his makeup kit started to melt! haha! It will be cooler this year..literally. It's Oct. 10-12. Gary says that the weather is pretty mild that time of year. Kyra told me to pack all my clothes just in case..haha! Will you be there again this year?
Thank you for posting this. Do you know if this was the first time they had revisited the location?
This movie is still superior to anything that's made today. I suppose that old saying "Less is more" is correct, because it's a formula that worked well for this movie, and nearly 60 years later stands the test of time.
Nope, their fathers grave was the COLE headstone the myers headstone is the one johnny bashed his head on.
The owner of that nice LeMans was probably wanting to scream "excuse me sir, but...….get your ass off my car!" :)
Barbra sweet heart I love you darling if hes alive duane jones

He is not. Sorry.
I remember a scene right as the 1st zombie Bill Heinzman right before he grabs her, he is standing and his eyes were rolled back up in his eyelids only showing white in his eyes. Did I dream that scene up or did they cut it out later?
Johnny found that missing candy.
My god Russ Streiner has some size of gut on him he’s huge he never use to be that huge
In this day of "remakes" and zombies....... I would like to see a remake with as many of the original actors as possible while we still have them.

Thats sounds like a terrible idea just to bank off of nostalgia which creatively bankrupt hollyweird and other companies like to exploit then the end result is terribly written movie
i grew up in detroit and when i watch a movie that was filmed there i notice how out of sequence it is because i know you can't jump from certain streets to certain others. it almost ruins it.
why that guy speaks too much? he's role was kinda about 5 minutes

He was also one of the producers of the movie.
I bet it was early version of Covid that started the zombie wake up.
Why wasn't Russell Streiner credited for playing Johnnie?
