Nice! Creaky, squeaky noises would annoy at 500k though. Like the whole living aboard scenario, gives a truer impression of what ownership might be like rather than the quick, glitzy whistle stop tour. Great video.
This boat is awesome! My favorite

So many things to love about this boat. Like any other boat, nothing is exactly as you want it but you get used to the things that aren’t. For example, I live in a 180-year-old house and a lot of things creek and squeak, but it’s part of the character, just like the creaking on a boat.
Throw in a Seakeeper to eliminate the rolling and you’ve got a great little yacht!
Keep making great content like this, really enjoy the 24 hour videos, and finds they are very informational!

@@guerrillaentrepreneur5999 the fact that beneteau would even allow a boat like this to be used shows the quality of boats the company makes.
You mention the creaking deck in the saloon and cabins; it shows that the boat has been built down to a price rather than up to a standard. Still, you get a lot of boat for your money, so if this doesn't bother a buyer (though it would me) it's not an issue.
Thanks for taking time to make this video. Happy that they plan to eliminate the sqeeking. Also hope they address the issue with the table and seat as you mentioned. Otherwise a cool boat.

If the demo squeaks, you can be sure that they all will.
If that boat creaks that much when it's brand new I can only imagine how bad it would be in 10 or 20 years. Admittedly I don't have much experience with bigger boats to compared to but that would drive me nuts.

Better but more expensive. I don't know a boat made of fiber polyester that doesn't creak. Maybe a cargo boat or ferry boat or transatlantic boat, but I'm not sure. You can buy a boat with a hull made of aluminum, but the price is nice for a boat ride of few days per year.

Nice boat & video!👏
For me, it would be a quality trawler, about 40 ft. and I'd spend my summers cruising the beautiful Trent/Severn waterway in Ontario, Canada. From Picton on Lake Ontario, you can travel hundreds of miles through many scenic lakes, rivers and numerous locks (including the fabulous Peterborough Lift Locks...check them out on You Tube) to Georgian Bay and beyond to Manitoulin Island. There are plenty of marinas along the way to get fuel and supplies PLUS waterfront restaurants, motels and campgrounds. A nice bonus is that you can do "side trips" into several small lakes. A tip...July & early August are busy on the system and wait times at locks can be lengthy. Detailed charts are available. I believe locks are open from Canadian May 24th weekend until Thanksgiving in October. I made the trip several years ago in early September and it was amazing. Something to consider for YOUR bucket list!!
So much space on such a tiny boat ..WOW. I can picture myself living part time on this wonderful boat with my lovely woman ;-)
0.40..."in the name of proper journalism.."I thrash the dirty trolley bag on a clean bed!! What a show!Congratulations for your manners.
Love trawler yachts they can be fancy with all glass, metal and fancy mid cons, or just an honest looking boat like this one, she feels a very adaptable boat. Like the separate toilet and shower works better for a boat full of people. The marina looks so peaceful when you all wake up, the calm before the day starts. An ambling boat mainly but she can shift faster if needs be. A great trawler boat that does what it says on the boat tin.
Morning! Good morning! How'd you sleep? Like a log! Jolly good! Most bri'ish thing I've heard all week

Great video concept. Could be expanded to cover more of the boats features. What’s is it to cook in the galley, how comfortable are the beds, etc.
This is a really clever concept. Instead of these quick walk throughs shows how a boat can actually be used in a leisure scenario. Rolls around a bit and think a seakeeper would help a lot. Great boat for the money and like the range of 800nM at 6 knots you could really travel around at your leisure on this boat and have a lot of fun

Great video, do these thrawler have stabilizers?? So it doesn't rock thx
Please do this with the jeanneau nc 1095 (merry fisher 1095) !!
Good review. Do you think you could live on a yacht full time, or do you think it would take away the novelty?
Is there a technique to anchor and prevent the side to side wallowing. My 8m can get a real roll on sometimes.
We 're waiting for Living abroad Magellano 43
Seems like you've been inspired by Mat Watson of carwow isn't it :) Nice review by the way
hey friend....the main point is to anchore on the calm place:-) .. as I have seen the waving-style dinner on the boat, it remains me my first anchore on opened sea...(I hope this was only for making the video) .-) right ? .-) good luck !
Now this looks great BUT it's bobbing around like no ones business, are there no stabilisers? Also air con? Water filter system, I mean if this can do nearly 1 thousand nm what other features does this have? Thank you
@ 14:45 , what a squeaky boat!
That squeak would drive me nuts...
Very enjoyable video. I sail a Beneteau First 501, it has been squeaking for well over 20 years. If she was a Hallberg or Oyster the squeaking would not be there and I would not have been able to afford her! Ho Hum.
Thanks.
The only thing i love is the swinging around bench seat from the lower helm! A very good idea, and to get back to the galley from the fwd seats you can just use the side door. Nice. Shame the rest is ****
Am I the only one who is super critical about those arches on the sidedeck? How to bring a mooring line from the stern to the bow? I can't see the point. Ps.: ok, the arches are pretty far back on this paricular boat, but nevertheless, is there a structural need for those arches?
This review and test seemed like Beneteau was paying you guys to say good things. This looks and sounds (from the creaking) like a very low quality boat, but there was not many comments on it. Definitely not a trawler that I would trust for long journeys. If I really wanted a quick trawler at this price, id much rather buy a used grand banks that has been trusted for over 50 years.
A great review well done. 500k + Vat and the floors squeak !!!! Buy a 5-8 year old Princess or Fairline way better value.

Nice little ship, although how you put up with all that creaking for 24hrs I’m not sure. My boat is 20+yrs old and doesn’t make that much noise!!

Am I nuts or is it a little odd to have a mix of cool and warm LEDs in that master state room?

I did enjoy the review, very easy on the ear. I am thinking that for my £550,00 inc vat for this higher spec model, i am pretty sure i could find a terrific used motor yacht/power boat for this kind of money, with more room and less of a caravan on water look. Sunseeker Predator comes to mind, just my opinion. Cheers. Gee.
Squeeek!squeeeeek!squeeeek!would drive me crazy.....could also use a seakeeper
Shoes on inside the cabin?!
Hi Jeff Somersby....I'll assume you're comment is sarcasm. I have never worked for ANY tourist association. My family had a summer cottage on Rice Lake, which is the first lake "up the system." The main channel along the lake was nearly 3/4 mile out in the lake (it was about 2 miles wide) and the summer season was busy with larger boats heading up and down the system. Sad that this season is "shot to hell" with this coronavirus nonsense. Believe me though Jeff, it is a beautiful trip, well worth considering.

Have to wonder who's spending £625,000 in the UK on this instead of a fully planing Princess that's a few years old... and having some money left over for fuel. Boating in the UK isn't about plodding around in semi displacement mode to cover long distances. Its about finding a short weather window, loading the boat up with people, putting the hammer down to get from your home port to a decent hang out destination (an IOW pub for example), and then back again, in no more than a weekend. More usually in a day. The range of this thing is useless for the average boater. In the UK at least. And the build quality looks "meh".
