    It let's the anger stay with the one doing the striking in so much they'll eventually go away and take their anger with them

    So if someone murders my child I am supposed to grieve over the sin I caused them to do? That is a level I will never reach.

    I think he means to not just think of your own self but the feelings of the other person and feel bad for them because they're spiritually poor. He's talking about things that cause offense. He didn't talk about murder. I think he's talking about being perfect as God is perfect

    I dont understand level 3. Of course, if you fr example, accidentally cut someone off while youre driving and they get out and smash your car up, you could achieve level 3. But if someone is walking home one day and gets attacked for no reason, how can you be sad that you caused the anger of another when you did nothing?

    I think level 3 is dealing with the sin in all of us, the sin that crucified Jesus.
