Liverpool knew that Nuñez has a very weak first touch when they signed him. It was the first line in every scouting report about him, he's fast, moves well without the ball and is really good in the air but for better or worse he has anvils for feet. Its just odd to me that Klopp would want to play him as a target man because while he has the size and strength he's terrible at holding the ball upfield especially if it comes to him via a long pass.
